hey all, just wanting to know if the w960 viewing screen is as bad as some people say about it?? i have seen many various phone screens which differ in many ways... e.g Nokia N95 has a very bright clear screen...and then a Samsung G800 which seems to be dark both great phones, but i find it a hassel looking into a darker screen!

About the internet and wifi , I hear you.
Just one thing I'm with Voda, do you get a net browser by going in the 'live ' bit.
Main menu > web.
Won't cost if wifi connected , is that right ??

I use internet browsing rather a lot, especially through the wifi connection, and I also listen to a lot of music on my phone. I tend to charge the battery once every 4 days or so. I haven't used a P1 so can't comment on the battery life on that one...

Once you've got wifi enabled and connected, whenever you open a browser window it's automatically using the wifi. As long as you enable it first...

a w960 owner knows why he/she bought it, and an n95 owner too... so nick everyone else in the world can leave knowing that its phone isn't the "best" so stop bothering
there will always be things that other phones will do better than yours, i hope you can leave with that
why do you need to fight if you already know that in some months many better phones will be released
please someone tell him.

Well Nick, its nice to see you have a life. Hows about we get on with revision until these exams are over, and agree to disagree which phone is best. BTW, dont take chemistry next year unless you have to. It is solid. hahaha

Yeah, most java games have controls assigned to the number keys as well as the d-pad so yeah, it's fine...

Another thing I love about SE is their genius accessories. A wristwatch that doubles as a bluetooth remote for your media player - how awesome is that? Don't get me wrong, it's completely unneccesary and I wouldn't pay £150 for it but that doesn't change the fact that it's freakin' cool. And a protective carry case with built in loudspeaker. I love this stuff...!

i just bought my nokia k850i today. Loving it. It Is Great. Well, in my opinion nokia and sony ericsson are both great. i mean what i say. before this i was using the nokia n73 ME. Its was great too. All in all, i'd like to say this-n95 is good, w960i is good too. It just depends on what you want. Want a 5mpix camera multimedia powerhouse? Go for N95. Want a touchscreen walkman? Go get the w960i. It all depends on what you need and what you want. Thats it.

Trust me w950 produce much more better sound quality on earphone than this w960!! Please try and feel the difference

Pointless, there's no use trying to convince him to stop - I'm starting to suspect that he's on nokia's payroll or something. Either that or he's some kind of bizarre zealot. I can't think of any other explanation for the kind of blind faith that he's throwing into this thing. Or maybe he's smarter than we give him credit for and this is all some kinda wind up to elicit a reaction from those of us who know the truth...
