Stop it with the Nokia > Sony Ericsson already! What joy do you really get from trying so hard to convince SE phone owners/lovers to buy a Nokia?? :\ Live and let live.
Question : In the phone itself, is there an option to backup/dump data from my phone memory to the 8gb? (Data like my contacts and stuff)

lol dani, nobody goes out when buying a phone saying..
"omg i really dont want N-gage or a 5megapixel camera!"
i want something crap, so i think i better get the w960!
nothing beats a phone which makes listening to music a huge task!

What i said to Bad Boy about NOKIA being at the top HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do features or why i buy them, read what Bad Boy said about NOKIA having to shout on high rise buildings, in other words ADVERTISING new products.
What i said in the reply was that THAT'S WHY NOKIA ARE ON TOP because they advertise, they have a great advertising campaign, and budget, something SE have had to learn to do. You totaly misunderstood me. Advertising has F**K ALL to do with personal taste, its about making a customer rethink what they want and buy your product. Have you seen the N81 and N95-8GB THE NEXT EPISODE adverts on TV? AMAZING! Have you seen the N95-1 THERE'S A THING IN MY POCKET. . . . .IT'S NOT ONE THING, IT'S MANY TV-advert? Made a lot of SE owners drool when it came!
Have you seen N82 STORYTELLING TV-advert? Brilliant advertising by NOKIA. This is what SE need, the W910 Shake advert was horrible it doesn't play anymore, K850 advert playd a few times then disappeard, the NOKIA adverts have played for 3months each!

but its a Personall Choice
some People like SE, Samsung, LG
some people like Nokia
so its not just about the Phone offering more, what if it has the Software and Looks someone doesnt like?
then they are stuck with SE or Samsung!
thats the decision i made 2 Years when i got the W850i. had a 6233 it had all i needed but then Disappionted me in the Music Playback and Camera .now i got a K800i and W850i and 100% SATISFIED!
and i didnt like N73 or the other offerings from Nokia.
so i Stuck with SE...and Dont Regret!
as i said ITS A PERSONAL CHOICE! its up to the User what they Want from a Phone in every Aspect!
Not everybody wants Symbian N-Gage, 5MP, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm Jack in a Damnn Phone!
5 Other Phones brands to choose from beside Nokia!
Its a Personal Choice!

Are you trying to back up what Bad Boy "Hustler" said? Because you're doing a terrible job of it.
SE W960 is at the same "Target Market" as N81, N95/N95-8gb, Motorola Z8/Z10,and Samsung i450.
Crying? WTF!!? Have you read what BadBoy said, im NOT buying a Nokia because they are the best, im buying them because they offer a lot more than a SE of the same price,also SEs can't keep their value as well as a Nokia Nseries or Eseries. Look at E90 and P1 or P990 and E61i.

hello dear SE fans..
i want to know what type of audio do W960I supports...
In the previous SE models they having memory card slots which we can open and give to the PHOTO shops 2 print it out..but in w960i it dun have memory slot so how do i guin 2 wash the photo ???
And..can anyone tell me how long must i charge the batery from 0 to 100% n how long is the duration...
n the most importantly i want to know how well is the 3.2 megapixel camera workin on...
plz do answer my question dear frens..

frens the above models are all 3.2 M.pixel.. but they produce diferent diferent picture quality
So wat i wanna noe is hows the W960 camera n results when compare to all the above models...

To Johnson,
While in a call you can open up the task manager, then press on Main Menu, where then from there you can select to open your contacts list or do other things.

ok, I just faced this problem 5 min's back.
How do I look up contacts or go to other menus during a call? The 'More' option has limited number of options. The only way I can figure out is via the Task Manager.
Is there an easier way to do this?

here's a rundown on my experiences with mobile phones the last previous years...
Nokia:
6600- i am irritated when i try to open the SMS. it takes a couple of seconds before i can read the message.
N70- ditto
N73- ditto
6680- ditto
N95 8GB- some lag, but not the same as above.
Sony Ericsson:
T230- nice response. what you press is what yyou get... immediately.
W800i- ditto
W960- will get my hands on this probably this month.

Just got my SE W960i in hand!!! too great guys!! Dnt think twice - get it as soon as you can!! wonderful mobile phone!!! find a hiding place, Nokia fans!!!

the edge of nokia that could never be beaten by SE, its S60 OS, its like comparing the first mac OS to the windows vista... no matter how they polish the interface of the SE, it could never get away to the fact that its not a smartphone, its not flexible to the mobile application in the net...
