we will keep on fighting because i don't think the n95 is better in sall aspects just think and you will notice that the features that the n95 has and the w960 doesnt't are unnecessary a 3.2 mpx camera is enough and the gps is not important for many people so i think that the w960 is better because it's cheaper and offers FUNCTIONALITY also it looks better and it's thin. can you say the same with the n95?

To some people below,
Stop fighting, the n95 is better period. But being better doesn't mean people are going to prefer it over w960. Some people actually care how their phones look.

i think it's a very cool gadget (many extra adds with perfect for young adult) but lack of style. And it's also not good enough in getting people attraction.

Yes, sometime I do use the my finger, for quickly answering the phone, taking a picture and a video recording. You could use your finger to do other things, but you would have to train yourself. The reason for that is that for example the on screen keypad has small keys, and takes some time to train yourself to use it if you are using your finger, and yes actually the keypad in this phone is useable with your fingers, I have done it and my fingers are avarage size. The touch screen is quite responsive and easy to press. Wouldn't say it's good as the iphone, that is if you are using your finger, because iphone is built for uisng your fingers. I don't have problem using the stylus, makes it quite easier to do things then using your finger. I like using the writing recognition that this phone has, instead of using the on screen keypad. The hand writing recognition is quite good. I prefered it more then the on screen keypad or the actual keys, because after using it a while I can type much faster with it. I would say my speed with the writing recognition is quite fast, I could probably type faster with it then someone could using the iphone's on screen keypad.

With n95 you get a messenger allready installed in the phone, with w960 you don't, but that isn't a problem. You have a choice of choosing from a few messenger programs for the w960, that you can download off the internet. The thing I like about this phone is the battery life, design, lightweight, thin, walkman player. For my n95 looks like an outdated phone, althoug it's not in any way, it's just it's design makes the phone look like it was made 5 years ago. N95 is a better phone, more features, faster processor, but I would take a better designed phone, that is thinner, lightweight with a bit slower processor and less features. This phone does everything that I need it to do, and if it doesn't by default I donwload applications off the internet. The only thing this phone is missing for me is the d-pad, without the d-pad it caind of makes it hard to play games on this phone.

Thanks for the response, i love sony ericsson since my first phone, now i'm kind of confused, phone are not cheap anymore so, i have to take a decission i like this phone but i'm in between this and the N95 8G, please tell me, i like the MSN messenger, and in the pictures of the N95 shows the messenger, i know that the mega pixeles doesnt mean a lot but serious i dont know what to do, please help!!!!

I would like to share u my experiences with my ph0ne. Im so hapi i b0ught n95 8gb rather than SE ph0nes. I d0nt have any maj0r pr0blem like u have on y0ur w960. For example vid streaming.. I can stream all sites that offer vid streaming n0t only y0utube.=)
I d0nt experience sh0rtage of s0ftwares dat i need like messengers and s0me fun s0ftwares. Im glad i used a ph0ne that sup0rt symbian.=)
With my n95 8gb i can st0re high quality pix with the help of the 5mp carl zeis optics. I can rec0rd dvd like quality vids also which n0kia is the best in that aspect.
With 1200mah battery that n95 8gb use, my ph0nes battery life last for 2 days with full use of the net. Txtn n playin music and takin pics n vids.
N95 8gb is really the king of all ph0nes. Lets face it. Its reality.=)

This phone doesn't come with any messenger program. I my self use fring, which works mosty with every messenger, even skype, and it has audio functions, so you can use skype to make calls, or you can talk to someone using msn, and it also has file transfer function.

i really want to buy this phone but upon reading these comments and opinions then i am having a second thought....?????
