Yo man, what up?
Its true that it takes about 4-5 sec to open Messaging and Contacts. That happens only the first time. But if you leave these 2 tasks running in the backround they will open much faster next time you use them.
The W960i also needs about 1 min and 5 sec to boot up! SE is working on a new Firmware Update and lets hope that the timings will be improved.

Same software as P990 screen size wifi touch what not sameee, when use u forget its 700$ cell as to 280$ for P990.SE should make dual speaker 16 mls and shift to symbian now

I have the W960i since 17 December and i love it! The phone is overall a little bit laggy. The speaker is the loudest of all Walkman phones and has great performance. Headphones are not very loud. Video playback, streaming, internet, Wi-Fi, gaming are some of the positives...
If you want the ultimate phone, then i suggest you the N95 8Gb.

i just got my w960i from vodafone only a week ago and i'm ready to return it. since after i fully charged the phone, i noticed how slow the response was. i mean if i click on a button (e.g. messaging), it takes more than 5 seconds to respond. i don't know if this is normal since i've never owned an SE before (im more of a pocket pc person). the battery also dies quickly. just the other day, i had to charge it twice as it got drained so fast! anyway, i will return it to vodafone - and hope that it's just a factory defect.

To exit Walkman Player you have to ''kill'' it (end) from the Taskmanager.

hi everybody,
I have a silly question. I don't seem to understand how to turn off the walkman feature completely. What I mean is that when I get to the desktop there is still a minimazed menu with the last song that I've played and there is no button or option to exit the walkman completely.
I realize this could be the dumbest question on the forum, but I had to ask :-)

Yo man, the N95 8GB is faster than W960i. Both phones lagg a little bit when you open some apps. The W960i menu is a little bit laggy but sometimes the reason is the bad firmware.
