As long as you can compromise with w960 slow performance, it's ok for you.

arrowman, 25 Aug 2009w960i when talking about music line cannot be compared with... moreI don't think w960 is rock, it's suck regarding to its very slow process each time you open program in menu. I tried to install Youtube application but unlucky it's not compatible with the phone. And bulid quality especially infront, looks cheap toy. On its first lunch the phone is very pricey (you didn't get what you pay).
Also i don't think w960 is best in music line. It doesn't have 3.5 mm jack on board that would cause you have problem with cabling and hey, you would have problem with headset port after few months of use. I had a problem with the bundled headset that i tried to plug in plug out again and again because the phone could not detect the headset.
Also you can't set up equilizer like xpress music. Mega Bass is suck, especially if you already had experience to listen audiophile sounds.

two hours ago i have gone to the shop to buy this mobile at €249
the shopkeepar has shown thix mobile to me but unfortunately this phone was made of china and i did not buy for this reason
1 week ago i bought 5800 but that mobile had a deffect and i replaced but also the second one had the same deffect and they gave my money back to me.. i need a mobile as soon as possible but i am really confused which mobile i should buy.... w960i i like but i will not buy any one made by china... i have used w850i for two years and that phone had been made also by china but i do not like china made mobile...

FR, 25 Aug 2009Generally nokia phone in music line is far better in perfor... morew960i when talking about music line cannot be compared with any fone whether nokia or whatever. u can only try such comparism only when u cannot operate W960i but if u can........w960i is the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, its interface is slow (compare to my current phone, nokia 5800). Plus side is music with bundled headphones is rather good. Editing documents (quickoffice) is slow. Also you need to be careful about stylus that it scratch your screen.
I have no idea about C series is i never had the phones. If you care of music, i think it's worth to buy, as long as you can live with its slow performance.

hi! omg! my w960 just stopped receiving texts...well it won't receive the message at the time, but when i restart my phone all the messages show up!...is there anything i can do?? ok thanks :)

Yes, it is more worthy to use Sony Ericsson than Nokia. Lithium Polymer battery of Sony Ericsson lasts longer than the Lithium Ion used for Nokia, anyway try it so will find out. I've been using Sony Ericsson since 1995 and it never lets me down, they always impressed me with their new features and technology.

I think there is no any phone till date which have music player visulization run on standby screen like W960i, just start music player, mute the phone and go to standby screen, voila...the best looking standby screen every.
