one more thing, if it was called A MUSIC PHONE, y must they move out the BT headset as they promised before?? and also no remote control in their headphone?? so shameful...

nothing they can be proud of, other than WALKMAN branding n also, typical CYBERSHOT.

    watever u ppl say,SE has some standard,u ppl jst speak bla bla bla.it doesnt matter.frm my pnt f view w960 far better than n series.coz i kw how guys take tis n series.wat ever draw backs u see r jst silly ,jst childish.jst ask any 1 across te world ,u wil cum 2 know te quality of se.N SERIES IS JST SILLY GUYS

      I was not talking about Video Recording cause we all know N81 kills the W960 in that,i was talking about PLAYING A VGA res 30Fps video or Movie in .rm format! Can W960 handle that? SE knew that W960 was not worth that much and HAD TO REMOVE the BT HEADSET in a desperate attempt. You compared with an N73? That has a 256k colour screen,try comparing W960 screen to N81 or N95-8GB. Lol N81 can change EQ without pausing cause of its brilliant 369mhz Freescale CPU. Il give the W960 this: its an improvement from W950 BUT not by much, even with loudspeaker N81 is better since it has two 3D Loudspeakers. The W960 doesnt give the best sonic experience experience,compared it to my friends N91-8GB and my N81 and the Nokias killed the Walkman. How long does it take W960 to boot up? 30secs? 1min? LMAO! Said by a SE FANBOY "IT COULD BE LOUDER" well well well A La W950. I just feel SE could have done SO MUCH MORE with this beauty but they failed. It only supports WiFi-b , no EDGE, Same old P990 hardware, slow etc. . .
      I will say Walkman3.0 is GREAT but its just not enough.

            The W960i is A MUSIC PHONE and NOT a CAMERA PHONE to take videos at 30fps in VGA quality!! Although it can record at 30fps only in 176x144 res.
            And about da bluetooth headset, if SE decided to put these in the headset, the price would be +51 Euros! I bought the W960i here in Greece, (although its not available in the markets) and the official price is 578 Euros! With the bluetooth headset included in da box the price would hit 630 Euros! I got the W960i one week ago and the sound is amazing, but in the headphones it could be much louder...

            Also i compared the W960i display with the N73 and the N73 display looks so so low quality and u can see da pixels from 45cm away!

            You can talk sh!t as long as you want, but i have tha phone and it is THA BEST PHONE ON EARTH!!!
            Who needs these music chips or what is called?

            When da music is playing in the W960i and u change the equalizer, the music stops for less than half second and then continues with the new equalizer settings applied! That means that something serious is happening in the sound proccesing! W960i is NOT a cheap TOY like some other phones... that try to reach the WALKMAN sound quality with cheap chips...

              SE's with that Orange Walkman badge are for kids, i'd like to see your lil W960 handle some VGA 30FPS .rm videos perfectly! Oh and as for Applications Symbian UIQ3 is WAY BEHIND unlike S60v3 in our Nokia where we have over a 1000 apps with lots more on the way! SE fans have even been ripped off of their Bluetooth Headsets in the W960 and now it only comes with with the same old HPM-70 headphones with NO REMOTE what kind of music phone is this? LMAO!!

                      LMAO! T3 we're payed by SE to give a review like that! They did something similar with the K810! You cant trust Mobile Magazines, on one i read that N73 beat K800 at Camera and we all know that aint true, Nokia had payd for a good review!! Audio Tests done by Gsmarena and M-R Show N81 murders the competition! And theres a few others. LMAO! How many of you got a Bluetooth headset with Your W960? :-D lmao! Poor SE! And its fanboys. The W960 is KNOWHERE near being at high quality audio, the N91 and N81 are THE BENCHMARK loads of BLOGS, PREVIEWS, REVIEWS,TESTS etc. . . Say and prove that! Next Level was it at FULL 30FPS VGA res? rm video?

                        where is the button to take pics on this fone. is it on the outside cause imy w810i camera button don't work no more and there is no other way to take pics except that one button so i am out of luck.

                            You can change da brightness by pressing the numbers 2 and 3 or from da touchscreen. Also the settings for taking a photo or recording a video are same except 2 features. The 1st is da Flash that can be used only for taking photos and da 2nd is da Auto Focus that also can be used only for photos and not fo' video recording. Yo brotha, i put the movie Transormers in my W960i and it is amazing(1Mbps video data rate... full movie 951Mb)!!

                            And something about da SE haterz... The T3 magazine (Greek Edition) tested the best phone in da universe (W960i) and dey say dat it has da best sound quality! SE is da master in music phonez! W960 is also da T3 test winner with 5 stars! HAHA!

                              Oh and MOST music phones and mp3/mp4 players including SONY mp3 players use DSP. Remember Ericsson makes the phones and assembls them ALL SONY do is programme the phones. Ipod has DSP.

                                I have owned SE W800, W900, W880, and Tested the W960 and its NOT at all a good Music phone, Dani you are blinded by that orange Walkman badge, Nokia N81 stands as the best sounding phone ive had ALONG with N91-8GB. Don't lie to yourself N81 got way better sound quality than a lil W800 that Distorted! The W960 also only has a lil 208mhz CPU which explains why it was a bit slow BOTH it and P1 that i tested!

                                  SE dont need no DSC chip in their Phones...SONY are the Masters of Sound Quality!

                                  Nokia only put this DSC chip in their phones because Nokia DONT have Good Sound Quality in their Phones...Nokia have never had good sound quality until now..with this DSC chip! which is just a gimmick!

                                  even SE W800i beats the N81 in terms of sound quality! and thats 3 years old...

                                    Tested this a while ago, it was good as a phone,but as a Music Phone it wasn't that good so i dropped the idea of getting it and got a Nokia N81,and WOW!!
                                    SE must make a plan,get some sound DSP chips in their Walkman "Music Phones".

                                        If u get da W960i, you will notice that the screen is not much bright when you activate it for the very first time. Thats because the W960i default settings about the screen brightness is 65%. You have to go to the "Control Panel - Device - Backlight - Brightness" and then set it to maximum (100%)
