        To ma G Brotha Sone

Yeah man i put da movie Tranformers in my W960i! The whole movie converted to mp4, 320x240, 30 fps, 119kbps aac, 1Mbit viden data rate only 951 MB and i have left about 4,6 Gb in my phone FREE!

And guess what. There is no lagging when playing da movie and the phones interface and function are working perfect!

        THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

        SE 4 LIFE

and thx for "gotting" ma back

Very nice phone, will be able to run Loads of available Palm Apps soon with the styletap - and is imho more advantageous than S60 if we talk about the ease of use of the Powerful Palm apps due to it's TS capability. and i loved the Walkman UI, nothing beats it even iPhone's Itunes UI can't imo ;)

          @Tseps_N81:

First of all, i am not intend to join the argument here but imo the UIQ interface never halt any applications like S60's N958Gb/E90 after P1 - just ask any P1 user here who got his phone halted while running multiple apps(50 running apps) at once. in E90 even with just 10 apps opened and theres still a whooping 60Mb RAM left. the phone sometimes crashes/closes some applications by an undefinable reason. even GSMArena are witness for that matter on their E90 review ;)

again, my post here talks about MO regarding some facts about S60. no pun intended like insults or bashes, just MO ;)

          cheers!

to those who have the phone...
i just wanted to know if animations aside from smileys can still be added in creating text messages such as happy, sad, wow, crying, confused, kisses, etc.
I really love that feature in my prev W800i and K200i.
            thanks!

Tsepz_N81, i have just been reading some of your posts and u are quite significantly hypocritical. U say u cannot trust mobile magazine i believe with specific refereence to T3, yet you try back up (when you do which is SELDOM) any point u make reference to some sort of review, albeit on the internet. I would say statistically the internet is much less reliable than a published article due to legal requirements for the article in question to either be backed up or opinion, which does not apply on the internet.

I may add mobile review seems to be quite PRO-nokia (i.e. biased from where i stand, particularly in the manner of the articles on the said website, which would not stand up to wikipedia standards).

It simply isnt good enough to say "the nokias killed the walkman". I think we should have some sort of citing rule, where you have to site any information that isnt given, otherwise lets just treat what was said as a Lie. sound fair?

              good.

Please stop being so RUDE Tsepz_N81. ur attitude is so annoying. If you are so convinced that the N series are better than sony ericson go talk about it elsewhere. WE DONT GIVE A DAM about your opinion. Me and Next_Level have wanted this phone for months, and so you wont change our minds.

And btw, u sound like I did last year: SPECS SPECS SPECS. I got an N73. an okay choice. its ok, camera is still terrible like all camera phones compared to compacts. U need to look deeper. If u like the N81 go for it. WE'VE decided on this. BTW, this phone hardly crashes and its UI is very fast compared with the N series (compared with N95).

I could mention plenty of faults about the N81 (have fun navigating btw with all those buttons around the D-pad, and don't forget your phone will look worn within 4 months, with the paint wearing off, d-pad breaking, and dust getting under the screen).

So in summary, toddle off to the N81 page and talk about it to fellow pure spec lovers.

                Cheers in advance.

Well All I Know Is I Want This Phone For The Music Capability.

We All Can Agree Apple Are Top Dog With Thier Music Systems And iPods Are Great.

Apple Are Saying Their LAtest iPod Software Is In The iPhone And iTouch.

Fact Review From Gadget Show Which Airs In UK Tested W960i Up Against N81 And iPhone. And Even Tho W960i Lost In Its Internet Browsing Capabilities. It Beat Both The n81 And iPhone In The Music Test And If This Is The Latest Music Software In iPhone Then This Must Suggest That The Walkman 3.0 Is BEtter Than The iPod LAtest Software.

                    If I'm Not Mistaken?

And That Is Enuf For Me To Want This Phone. All The Extra Camera And Other Browsing Things Are Just Extra For Me.

                      Nameless Poster
The K850 has been a disaster with A LOT of bugs so please dont make it sound like SE are perfect, REMEMBER P990, M600 AND W950??? Good. P1 and W960 also have bugs with that Green Tint in the right bottom corner of the pics they take, slow UI,random reboots to "improve performance" AND also freezes.
I wont lie ive had my N81 freeze twice most phones do that especialy whilest heavy multitasking eg with a huge 10mb Web Page open, Music Playing, Gallery open, Uploading a big file in a 2nd Window and running a Java IM app.
                      @ Next Level
The only question i asked was for a link that apparently said W960 was better. I suggest RE-READING.

It's really funny how these N81/N82/N95 lovers are here based on their own concept of what a good phone is, and their tolerance for what they'll put up within a phone, such as bugs and hardware freezes. If you don't encounter them, then by all means, ignore the last of that sentence, because you're lucky then.
Just like many people bash the K850 for taking dark photos, it's only because people have been taking photos with their hands wrapped around the entire phone, but it's also a fault on SE's part for placing the sensor right there. For me, there is no problem with the K850, and I'm happy with it. I don't have to deal with trivial things within it's similar 5MP solutions such as the N95 and the N82 with their standard look (to me) and the N95's double slider mech which if pulled from media to keypad, has frozen many times for me, and I've had to change it to a second one, only to find that it happens upon it as well.
But just a word I wanted to get in; I find it stupid that all the physical stats within the phone are being put up against one another with very minuscule differences between them. The actual real life usages are more important then their performance on paper. No matter if a phone has a higher processing chip/card, if another phone can operate faster, then the information that you wasted your time upon is useless.
But when matched down upon (nano)seconds needed to operate a certain phone for a certain task, that's all upon each individual device. One N95 might not be up to going from media to dialing numbers in a second, but another might be. One K850 might have an oversensitive sensor, while the other is dull and so on. Really, it's all based down upon ergonomics. Meaning the size, and the raw features that people will use with this kind of phone, and nothing else.
Sure, this phone is ok in the US, but it'll be garbage in Canada because we have HSDPA, not UMTS, and we need the 850 band for both EDGE and 3.5G.
But that doesn't mean the N95 is better then this phone because of it's network capabilities. If it's not a phone that works smoothly, alot of people literally throw the phones out. I don't know how many times I've seen N95s and other lower end Nokia devices in the garbage before, but it's pretty frequent. As for Sony Ericsson devices, I've only seen frustrated people without judgement throw their devices out, but most people seem to be carrying an SE or an iPhone around Toronto lately. The last time I saw a Nokia was a few nights ago, and this girl had a N93 which had a long strap upon it. I found out why she needed it, to pull it out of her bag because she couldn't even fit it within her pocket, now that's far from convenient. So Nokia solutions are good as they offer the right features for the most part while Sony Ericsson solutions are more about usability and quality in product efficiency and design/ergonomics.

You made another mistake, i didn't ask for W960 in Nokia section, WTF would i do that for ive testd and know it. Yes i know about its GPU its the same old one used in the P990.
The ram i must say is an improvement i remember the W950 had around 17mb ram on boot yet W960 has around 79mb ram on boot but the W960 is slow and there arent many apps to fully utilize that ram, N81 has 50mb ram on boot and is a lot faster.
Im sorry but headphones play a HUGE part in a Music orientated phone and need to be mentioned.
The battery life on the latest Nseries (N81, N95-8GB, N95-3, N95 with v20 FW, and even N93) has been said to be very good. My N81 has gone 12hours straight with heavy useage and still has 3bars left. My friends N95-8GB lasted a full day with heavy use so those numbers in this case DO COUNT. I know the N80,N93i, N95 with earlier FW and few others had horrible batt life but i do suggest trying N81 and N95-8GB and you will see a great improvement.

I found u at the NOKIA section asking for the W960i so u can post here...

The W960i has also a Graphic accelerator(OpenGL SE) ...if the guys at the Nokia section didn't informed you...

Also the non 3G support sounds very ancient in these dayz you know...

The W960i CPU is 220Mhz and not 208Mhz. It has also 128 MB of RAM memory PLUS 256MB of flash memory and PLUS 8GB memory.

And the N95 8G Graphic accelerator doesn't improve the sound quality as you know... It is for the interface, pics, effects, games etc. I mean CPU and GPU are not the same.

And about the battery life. Don't get excited by the numbers mah and sh!t!... It is PROOVED by many people that Nokia phones, especially the N series, have no long battery life.

So man don't tell me that I'm a typical SE fanboy and sh!t!

And don't mention the BT Headphone anymore.

I read your post in the NOKIA section, saying that the N81 sound quality sucks! U said it!

EDGE is needed for those of us who travel to the US where they have EDGE but not 3G Frequency our phones have.
LMAO! The N95-8GB has a 332mhz CPU PLUS a 220mhz Graphic Accelerator whereas the N81 has a single core 369mhz CPU thats why. Oh and why does a SE W960 have a slower CPU than a W910? Thought W960 was the Flagship. W910 also has HSDPA and EDGE yet W960 has niether, thought W960 was The Flagship? LOL!!
Lol the N81 has a 1070mah Battery and N95-8GB has 1200mah yet W960 has a lil 900mah, so its safe to say the Nokias have the bigger, better longer lasting batteries, ONCE AGAIN PROVED IN REVIEWS!
Lol you are being a typical fanboy TOTALY MISSING THE POINT! SE W960 Flagship Walkman has the same old HPM-70 headset as W800 which has NO REMOTE even W900 had the better headset with a screen and remote. Has no DSP which is what MUSIC PHONES and MP3/MP4 players that are at this price NEED to have. You obviously havent tried a N91 or N81 and you are basing your sound judgement on Nokias that arent Music based, the Nokia N80 Multimedia Device that was released last year WITH NO DSP has the same SOUND QUALITY AS W960! I Know cause i testd a W960 and owned a N80. Sorry but W960 does NOT give a good SONIC EXPERIENCE, GET OVER IT!

You are right about the Video Recording. The W960i is not so good in that.
But why should a phone support VGA resolution video playback when its display supports 240x320 pixels?? Aahh! I get it! Another fancy useless feature that drains the battery life much faster...

You tell me to compare the W960i screen with the N81 and N95 8GB?? No problem!! The W960i has a briliant large TFT TOUCHSCREEN which is bigger than N81 and a little bit smaller (0.2 inch) than N95 8GB. Both Nokia phones display have much more colors than W960i but they suck the battery life and happiness is over very fast...haha

About the EDGE. Why should a phone support EDGE when it has 3G which is faster? I tested my W960i 3G and i'm excited and pleased!

Why N81 has faster CPU than N95 8GB? I think that N95 8GB supposed to be the High End model.

About the sound quality... Don't get emotional about the sound chips, the sonic sh!t or what is called and the 3D speakers... I've heard many Nokia phones sound quality and all phones had the same loud treble. The play music with much treble that u cannot understand what kind of sound is it! If u want to test a phone sound quality, u should use the best headphones possible for each brand and model.

You also said that SE knew that W960i doesn't worth, and so they decided to remove the BT headset. Where do u know dat? SE told u that?

And wheres da problem about the BT headset? We can buy it seperately.
