Sorry, but I workf for Vodafone in the UK and our customers have far more problems with Nokia handsets than with SEs. We refused to release the Nokia N93 because the software problems with it were so severe. I'm yet to hear about a SE being refused release. Keep your uninformed fanboy opinions to yourself.

hold you horses, at w960i.co.uk it says available on 02 , but if you go on 02 website they know nothing about a w960i ???

why most ppl hate s.e. is becuz most of the s.e. phones got the same old looking firmware and options ... i must agree that the camera quality of the s.e. phones are good but the features in every s.e. phone they look the same ... s.e. also got a very few symbian phones which gives full customization options to the users ... i hate s.e. too ... but looking at the s.e. w960 it gave me hope for better s.e. phones in the future ... but then again i was wrong even after a wonderful phone like the w960 they are planning to release worse phones like the w890 & w660 ... if s.e. got to get on a good level and get popular between mobile users like the nokia products they must continue making phones like this w960 or else they will be in the same level like they are now in the future ...

FYI 2.5mm headphone jack is the standard for mobile handsets! And if you want to use 3.5mm headphones, just plug in a mini-adaptor and voila! Unlike all these SE phones, you need a large, bulky adaptor plugged into the fastport just to be able to use 3.5mm headsets! It's uncomfortable! It's plain dumb and ridiculous!

from what i know it does have shake control that can be toggled on and off...
i have seen videos on youtube that you can navigate through menus with your fingers without the stylus.
i believe that putting a 3.2 MP on a MUSIC phone is great enuf...
Cuz if they put a 5mp on this they jus gunna hav people buy this phone insted of their k850i which wud b bad business.

i wish it had a 5 megapixel camera... but u cant have everything. does any one no f u can navigate this using ur fingers, as opposed to just a stylus?

to nari. the w960i is way better. it has touchscreen and 8gb memory and much more. k850 does not have even those two features and its not good looking. keypad is a eyesaw

The one thing I hate about Sony Ericsson phones: Where in the blue hell is the 2.5mm or 3.5mm headphone jack?! I mean, come on!!
The flagship Walkman series phones doesn't even have a headphone jack!!
Look at the new Nokia phones. Even the low-end phones like Nokia 3110 classic HAS a 2.5mm headphone jack! It's pretty dumb for SE to junk out the one most important thing in distinguishing music phones from other multimedia phones!!!!

what everyone seems to forget in their rush to prove this phone is bad is that memory sticks cost a lot of money. A 4 gb costs £40 (about $80) and £85 (about $170) for an 8 gb one. So when you are seeing if this is worth buying, just add £85 to the price of the other phone u want without 8bg storage.

I currently have an N73, and have got a bit bored with the phone. This phone will be alot more fun, as it has a touch screen! woo. it would be nice if it had a 5 megapixel camera, but i suppose SE doesnt want to make competition in its own brand. then it would beat the nokia n95. =D
