used n95. And i tell it's as disgusting as the whole n series. will be switching back to sony thru this phone.

when typing messages, can we use the normal keypads aside from the handwriting recog and virtual touchscreen querty? I think texting via normal keypad is more handy and u don't need two hands. thanks for your answer!!!

I was presuming Id recieve the handset some time in Nov, I have now been given the 31 jan 2008 for a release date from whom im purchasing from! I have been waiting for this handset for months and some of you maybe longer, why are they taking so long with it ! ! I also have a feeling its going to come out on contract first before you can buy it out right, which is another bummer coz i wanted to get my hands on one quicker ! (:

Touch screen moves me to SE, but Nokia is available so I'm going for N81 8GB as well as many other people, I guess. Apparently N81 doesn't freeze as often as W960i.

I have to insist... by the time this thing hits the market there's going to be a whole lot of better phones out there... (5mp cam, 16M color screens, 3.5 mm AV jack...etc)

man i just dun understand why only japan gets all the cool gadgets, just look at their sony ericsson phones.... anyone will do. Bravia engined screen, with 2.7 inch at least, almost all has integrated GPS receiver, remote control in the sales package, with damn high quality earphones from original sony product lines, unlike here they giv us the cheap earphones in the package. phones has DBEX digital processing technology, which makes the audio quuality much much better, just think of it as HD audio. With the DBEX off it, music playing time can last up to 100 hours, i'm not lying,it's stated in the sonyericsson japan site, n with DBEX on it can last up to 40 hours, even musch better than any phone we hav here. japan's broadband is the fastest in the world, so our fastest HSDPA enable phone r sadly pars below their phones' data transfer rate. n the W52S even has 2 inch built in loud stereo speakers. Think about it guys, it's like we're being cheated by the phone manufacturers, n believe me, Japanese' phones aren't that expensive, some r even much cheaper than the phones in other places. Like the w960i, i think we're gonna pawn our head for those specs with that unbelievably huge amount of money. N processer with 208Mhz on the paper n 180Mhz in practice, sure will be laggy, iphone is the only phone outside of japan that's smooth while operating it?? I'm not saying anything bad about SE guys just i wonder if we could get wht those japanese r getting anyday soon, but i doubt their cool phones would ever leave the shore of japan, no phones from anywhere can compete with theirs'.
