if i pre... moreYes....W960i has alot of issues regarding touchscreen!
Many ppl's touchscreen stopped working....but it can be repaired....in fact my LCD screen from the inside literally cracked! Now I can't see anything on the screen other than some big cracks and leaking light!

sean, in my own opinion i think W960i is ok in all ramification including the camera though is 3.2mp. But if u want to buy w960i, is better u buy the one dat is not branded by any network operator.The batch of W960i's in the market now are all updated and they perform real good. Nokia 5800 is not better dan w960 in practice even though the specs say so.incase u have a re-think just go for w902 or w980, if u don't care about a phone being a smartphone and also having a touchscreen.

i would suggest that u go for Nokia 5800...In my suggestion, 5800 is better coz its a newer model and also coz W960i OS which is UIQ is officially dead!
W960i is although a good phone for music lovers, the camera is decent!
5800 is also a very good music phone, camera is ok, but overall its better than W960i!!
But but.....there's always a 3rd choice! If u want an excellent camera and if u dont want touchscreen....then no doubts go for N79!! Its an amazing phone with good camera and good music!!
PS: My w960i's lcd screen broke today!!:(

of course sean it fits evry1 especially those hu love music! the camera is great! though only 3.2 mp but looks like 5 mp.. and way better than the 3.2 mp of nokia.. the sound is good, it has everything in it!! i already have 500 songs and it doesnt hangs..

I had this phone for over a year now and I recently updated my service applications but the sound recording application got deleted. I could'nt update my music. I dunno where to find it.. Need Help!!

how is the camera of this phone? is this consider okay and much more better than nokia5800?
I plan to buy a multi-function phone, with a slightly better camera, does this phone suit me?

Hello everybody, i have being following up everybodies commendation and complaints towards this phone. I couldn't talk cos i haven't used the phone yet, but now i am a bonafide owner of this great phone. This phone as far as I am concern does not have a complete rival around cos it encompasses every thing u need for your multimedia and business experience. Nevertheless the two problems most people dreaded alot were 1.slow response for the touch screen and 2.speed of the processor during applications. I will have say this dat these two things are no problems if u understand the UIQ operating system well: For the touch screen, if u want a quicker response u have to go through the setup wizard and calibrate your screen acurrately cos if not calibrated well will cause frustrations when using the touch screen. For the speed, after leaving an application, the application does not really stop, it will still be running and u know the phone has only 128MB of RAM, so when many applications are running without proper ending through the task manager the device will definitely be slow cos perhaps the RAM memory is getting low and the processor is not dat fast. Finally i advise dat after running so many applications, for better speed and performance u have to go and properly end the applications u are not using with the help of the task manager. This is the best fone i have ever used (multimedia mixed with business) and my own w960 is not branded by any network operator. So i recommend this phone to everybody. Thanks.

if some ones pc is restarted during update no problem
go to nearest software master and he will flash it again with its original files i dont know the procedure but in pakistan i m doing software by my self so thats not a problem and dont try somethign by ureself on it

It's the best phone ever! If you LOVE Music, then this should be your phone... it's even better than the latest iPhone

This is an awesome phone!! It has everything you need in a modern mobile phone however, the touch screen has been rather disturbing for me it doesnt respond well, other than that w960 is a great phone!
