no edge and hsdpa support?? no gps?? i dont know but this phone will not be the best phone of the year, the n95 8gb will blow up this phone...but the w960 is very very good walkman...

I currently use 5700 and I'm thinking to switch to this handset. I don't care much about photos or apps just music is great deal for me.
I'm planning to get either N81 GB or this one. But if you'd ask, W960 gains my favor since it has a 3.2MP AF, a big plus for a music handset. Aside from that, the name SonyEricsson cannot be disparaged. It's going to be reliable also like what I've heard from a friend who uses W950.
Can't wait till this is released!

I just have one tiny question, can this phone install msn live messenger? i saw that N95i has it. This phone does have wifi, so just wonder is it compatible with these chatting softwares. THANKS

K850 or W960?hmm, well it depends weather u prefer taking very good pictures or listening 2 a lot of musik.personaly i prefer the K, but if ur not really into taking pics get the W or an iPod.:d

I love SE, but I think people should get the K850 because they just released a 8gb card for SE phones, so 8gb card and 5mp phone would be similar to n95. But SE makes better camera and it would have longer battery life. Plus, this phone supports SD card slot also, so that would make it 8gb + 4gb.

W960 is a music phone. It doesn't need to have GPS. It is indeed the best-looking music phone out there. I like the design a lot. Plus, the large touchscreen display is a big bonus for a music phone. (Unlike N91's low resolution small screen) Don't mind if it's not 16M colors. There's no practical use for that anyway. And hey, its got 3.2Megapixel camera, great UI, 3G & WiFi too. So cool! Like it!

The only thing I dont like from this phone is that it doesnt have navigation keypad.

I imagine sometime in the future when each one of us can order for custom made cell phone. (0_o) So, we can add features that fits our needs and choose the design we like. (just like order a sandwich in subway).. ^_^
