I love how some people have owned non OS SE fones and compare them to the feature handsets of the company and say they are rubbish.
If you have no experience with a smart phone then of course it may seem uncomfortable to use for a while. If you are looking for just and MP3 player and are not technosavy get something less complicated. Simpletons.

Pls is this phone out?i used w900 which has been my best phone.i used p990i and regretted ever buying that Phone.used k750i good as well.can someone tell me where to get w960?

this phone has...
a basic screen
very standard 3G
and the cameras are already ahead of it

Did get a chance to read the review between the N95 & the K850i.I would tend to disagree with the result as the K850i is still in its beta stage. It would be unfair to judge a mobile so soon. But if Sony Ericsson is going to take any longer with the launch of so many models, there are going to be a lot of unhappy customers shift to other manufactures.

This is one awesome mobile phone, but it looks like Sony Ericsson this time is taking too long to launch this model. Although being a huge fan of everything Sony, this is turning out to be very disappointing.

This is a superb fone! The specs are really gud for a walkman phone. Am urging SE to include HSDPA, Edge and Wi-fi 802.11g on the handset to make the fone rule in its class.

this is the exact replica of the p1. p1 dint make it to the top. the only difrens from this phone to the p1 is that this phone has more memry. but who cares? some memry card manufacturer released a 4/8gigs already. but still it depends to the phone capability. but my n95 supports it=) its only a 3mp cam phone. we're talking 5mp SE. touchscreen? who needs a touchscreen anyways? no gps. dont ever SE make this phone expensive of its lack of features. its synmbian but "symbian UIQ" which has low library of software. unlike the symbian v3 of the latest nokia phones. SYMBIANS rocks! the music channel of the k850(camera phone) n n95(the best phone) is much higher than w960(considered as WALKMAN phone)?

I think, for now, this phone has the most features needed. if you wait for "turbo 3g" or something like that, you will never buy a phone and never satisfy by your phone. Technology is moving fast. By the time you got the "turbo 3g" phone, there will be more advanced phone released.
You can not keep up with the technology unless you have a lot of money..
So, if your phone now has everything you need for now, then just use it.

First of all I think this will be my next phone, but there is some things to think about...
* 240x320 screen (standard but not exiting)
* No GPS (Soon standard for high-price-range mobiles.)
* No HSDPA/Turbo-3G (Soon stanard)
* No card-slot (sub-standard)
(* With 8GB cards on the way this makes any phone a 8GB phone)

I am using a SE W900 for nearly 6 months....& its a rocking phone & my best phone till date.. now i am looking to change
I have seen ther features of SE W960 & N95 8GB... i likes both the phones.....plz help me which one should i go for & why..... but i love SE & i Love walkman phones for music

I can't wait to have the W960i! I have my W810i 7months ago, WOW!!! It was excellent!!! Now here comes the new W960i?!!! I love this!!! It's has an awesome new features!!! Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
