chess.. i feel sorry for wat you experienced; but have you checked it might probably infected with virus...? as you are using the wireless access internet you might catch one which coz damage to your phone.... thats! the dis-advantage if you have WLAN.. send it to service center and ask to upload an antivirus.. this mobile is cool just try to know more about it... some readers might confuse...

piece of CRAP.
the interface is slow when navigating the menu
and worst of all it freezes for no apparant reason every 3 to 5 days and the only way to fix it is to take the battery out
i have missed calls and missed alarms because of this problem
and right now the phone wont even turn back on after taking the battery out
i want to sell it
but would feel sorry for the poor sod that gets it

I have the w960i, I have been having issues with it's response time as it is very sluggish, it doesn't charge via usb, the battery life is not very lasting even if it's everyday use, settings change on their own. I tried to update it via the update sight and it told me that I already had the latest update on my phone. Can anyone tell me how I could remedy this? Or if anyone solved an issue like this?

i'm having a hard time guys, please help with almost the same price range here in manila, which is better w960i, g700, g900? choices choices lots of them. one thing remains, sony ericsson makes good looking and fucntional phones

nutshel review:
sound out of headphone: below average
sound in headphone:excellent,powerfull
hang:very very few,lags about 2seconds for entering into programs when its memory bears more than 5gig
messeging:really good
camera:in day time average,in night awful
appearence and design:good
its touchscreen is fun but needs a little bit of precision when you want to use your fingers instead of stylus.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2009I have the phone 8 months ago, w960 is a perfect phone runn... moreI just bring my unit to the service center lastnight and they will fix it free of charge as the warranty with AXIOM TELECOM is 3years. I hope it will work well when i got the unit back after 3 days.

chris, 17 Jan 2009i guess its not my fault the sreen aint working anymore, so... moremy screen has also stopped working.
A few months back the same thing happened, and i stopped using the phone for two months and turne it back on and it was working ok again.
Its quite annoying, this phone seems to be so troublesome. honestly i would rather just pay more and swap to another one..
