I have the phone 8 months ago, w960 is a perfect phone running between fun,entertainment and business. unfortunatly the screen for no reason stops working so the phone is useful cause you cannot do anything without the touch screen,by the way the new screen cost almost 70% of the new w960, such a petti

john, 18 Jan 2009am just asking if you did change with their advice and how ... morethey did not said i need to change it yet , im just asking what i should do incase they say i need to pay for a new one.my question is the same like yours.

chris, 17 Jan 2009i guess its not my fault the sreen aint working anymore, so... moream just asking if you did change with their advice and how much it cost you for that? coz am still thingking if i need to have this w960I fix or just buy new mobile if it will cost a lot.

how can i configure the 8gb memory without compromising all the data saved?i heard from a friend that when he tried to activate the 8 gb memory,the unit blacked out and all data were lost!!!
what should i do pls???

i guess its not my fault the sreen aint working anymore, so what should i do if they ask me to pay for a new screen ?can i ask em to replace the phone with a new one or ?..also the screen isnt scratched or damaged at all.

qq, 16 Jan 2009using this phone for like 10 months now and the touchscreen... morethats my problem too, been using this for almost a year now suddenly i can unlock it coz of the touch screen is not working for almost 3 hours. then it works again for month with out any problem. but since last night i cant use the screen hangs again

qq, 16 Jan 2009using this phone for like 10 months now and the touchscreen... moreyeah me man too, i have this phone from a year now and it's stopped working for a week then back working again but now its stopped from a 2 weeks now and SE told me i have to change my screen and pay for the new !!!!
i like my w960 it's great phone, but if i knew this is will happened ...
by the way i have one of my friends have the same problem with the same mobile after 11 month

Hi lets talk some sense.Please dont waste time deciding if you want a w960 & dont compare it to simular spec/£ mobiles this is not a phone for everyone it is for the few-in the know.You will buy a w960 because you really want one.How cool and refreshing to have a mobile that almost nobody else has seen let alone have..How many n95/96 have you seen today or seen being given away with various deals.This phone is an all out top spec Sony Walkman that is an instant classic.Go look at ebay and see some of the £500+ prices being bid crazy stuff...

To all w960i users, i suggest u buy your own Philips and Torx 6 screwdrivers. The moment you drop your phone, the touch panel will be loose, and you may have to open it to press its connection to the motherboard.
