surely for music the n95 8gb is better because you get a standard jack
why would a music phone make you use an adapter?!

hey guys.. i have done an update. after that, camera improve, its work faster on auto focus, but when i press the number 4(shotcut ket), it change the focus to flower, but the icon on the screen doesn't change. do uall have this problem??

hey guys i am gonna send a mail to sony ericsson (developers) about all the problems and bugs so if any of ul have any problems or no of any bugs or want any new features to be added in the next firmware update pls pls post them here with the heading problems (so that its easy to find)
hopefully they listen anyways worth a try guys so help me to help u and all w960i lovers

You should buy the w960 it's much better than the n95 in music and the camera is also very good

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I suggest you not to buy N95. I did buy one and regret it soon. N95 has a poor battery, it only lasts for a day, even less, and the camera is as good as W960. N95 also has a restart problems every day and you have to know that N95 has peeling chrome problems which makes your phone looks so ugly.
So maybe you can consider to buy W960 because of its battery, performance, and the housing.

to update the firmware you need to download the sony ericsson update service, you can get it from the sony ericsson web site
after you've done that you need to fully charge your phone and start the software then you connect your phone via usb pressing the c button then you need to follow the instructions that will appear on the screen, i recommend you to take out your battery cover and leave it like that cause you'll be using the battery,also u need to have a good internet connection

jack, 27 May 2008i think you should buy the w960 cause it's stylish also bec... moreDude wat are you talkin about.n82 has a 2mp camera.its not for pics,w960 has 3.2mp camera.& if he really likes pictures he shud go for a n95 or n96 or f480 ore even better than them all is the k850 its the best phone for pics and not to mention all its other great features.

Even now, I still cannot find the resize option.
You asked:
dont you see "resize" when you press edit picture? or it goes directly to photo dj?
The answer is that once I press "Edit Picture", I go directly into the photo editor application. It doesn't show me a broken line around the photo at all.
If I press/touch the photo once I am in the editor, I activate the pen/pencil feature!
In the editor if I press "More" then "Edit", there is still no option to resize.
This is frustrating! :(

however if you like taking pictures u should go for the n82 that also looks very good in black,

DV, 27 May 2008Hey guys, I have the firmware CXC162037 R9K009, just wante... moresoz, dv only read part way through, i take it you have flashed your phone then? yes its the latest software there are others but that is good enough. it should be right and if ssx 3 plays ok then phone is sound. have you tried tomtom on it? you can down load it of web, software is hooky but you can get keygen of web when you download software.

I have the firmware CXC162037 R9K009, just wanted to know if this is the latesst firmware or no?
And when i upgraded the firmware, some snowboarding game called SSX3 automatically got installed, did it happen for others too?
And also whenever I switch on my phone, the installation page for the software Xplore appears, how can i fix it??

jack, 27 May 2008ok let me know how it goes and if there's anything else i c... moreYeah man.id actually say that w850 is the best looking phone ever released.hands down.its so smooth & practical.that gloss metallic black colour.nice big easily used buttons.& best of all is the lava orange that glows when u turn on walkman player.just perfect.
C i type my posts from it & a post like this takes about 1 or 2 minutes.tried to do it wid my bros n73 & n70,its disastrous.theyre like bricks,huge wid tiny buttons.wat a waste.
Does w960 have good practical buttons?
Oh yea one last thing the f480 was just released very recently so id say it wud be far more expensive than this one.$650 i think they said.i still think w960 has much better features.its enough that it has double the battery capacity.only extra f480 has is 5mp camera & 2.8 inch screen.all d rest w980 is better.
I dunno its up to u man
