H1i is just a concept..the question is,if SE is gonna take this concept and build it..then no doubt it would be the phone of the century, hell im gonna get 1 as soon as it comes out if its true..hehehe, dont u agree,hehe

wario you have to see the broken lines around the picture,because if not you will not see the "picture options" when you press "more"

Oh sorry i just remembered about the samsung phone,i didn't know you were also considering the h1 which doesn't exist and will never do.it is just a design made by someone in esato i think, i don't remember very well

And yeah! The samsung is just an option, but if you consider trying the w960's touchscreen then you should definitely go for it. As i think it's much better then the phones you are considering

Kevin, 26 May 2008Right now, I'm consider this phone, Samsung u900 Soul, or t... moreYou should go for the samsung if you don't like tochscreens cause it also seems to be a very good phone.anyway just i have to tell you that the user interface and the touchscreen may look not very user friendly but after some days you have it you won't use the stylus at all(at least i don't) only for the virtual keyboard,however i have tried to use it with fingers and i've done it but it ain't that comfortable. Anyway we have the keypad that is very comfortable and the hand writing recognition.as i told you with a little practice you'll be able to press even the smallest buttons and sometimes you'll want to use the stylus but just for fun.

When I pick a picture I have taken with the camera to be sent as MMS, it asks if I want to resize it. If I choose "YES", it will resize it to 640x480 which is still too large.
Once I am in the MMS application, there are two buttons on the bottom. "Picture" and "More". When I click "Picture" The sub-menu that pops up are, "Replace, Edit picture, Edit time, Delete, Copy". When I click "More", the sub-menu shows, "Send, Save, Delete Message, Preview, Media Files, Slide, Settings, Help, Task Manager"
I don't see "Picture Options" unfortunately.

H1i is not even a real phone that is going to never come and this phone(w960) is much better than Samsung u900.

oh yeah, forgot to mention about the non user friendly touchscreen, which makes it tiring to pull out the stylus every time you wanna use the querty key board or w/e. And, about the stylus, it's not the durability or anything that I'm complaining about, I'm just saying I'd like a nicer one like those metal ones or something. Also thanks for clarifying me on the 3g and speed of the phone without the EDGE. but EDGE would be nice.;)

Hi, I just bought one yesterday and it is brilliant. I just have one question: the screen blinks whenever I access my sms, i.e. read and open sms. May I know if it is normal?

Elcrocodilio, 26 May 2008ok heres the deal tho man...ive been checkin out this w960.... morei have to tell you that even though this phone might be a little laggy i can't find a significant problem that makes this phone bad. on the other hand i have to say that it has more good things than bad things like an awesome touchscreen that allows you to browse the web amazingly, i don't know where did you hear that it's bad browsing the web cause it's pretty good, in music it's awesome and the camera is actually very good for a walkman phone so i think it would be a very good upgrade for you i upgraded from a w810 to a w960 and it's just as good as the w810 when it was released
so this phone isn't bad and you should read the gsmarena review and you'll see that there's many cool things that make you forget about the bad ones.

ok heres the deal tho man...ive been checkin out this w960...and it looks great and it was out when i got my w850 but it was over 100 or 200 squid more..
plus i thought touch screen would be too delicate and fragile for my hardcore use....
anywho my w850 works great and even its standard problem (biggest one is how the charger\headphone\usb plug on the phone gets messed up)i didnt have.
actually i did a little but i just give it a gentle push up and it works great.(plus i had that same problem with my 3230)
ok so i really like this w960 and wat i found out is that to upgrade my phone with genuine 4gb or 8gb memory card it would cost just the same as a new w960?
which put me in a pickle.Coz with w850 all u find is great reviews and minimum glitches and its upgradable to 8gb(even tho people complain from 8gb cards).
on the other hand w960 has a lot of bad reviews but for an 8gb card money u get 8gb internal memory+3.2M.P.+touch screen+many more....
which is where i need ure professional opinion as a sony ericsson expert...
shall i pick the guaranteed great phone with great reviews or get a supposably much better phone with bad reviws...
one last thing..is the internet browsing on w960 as good as the w850 coz a lot of people have been complaining about that...

Hey, I have the firmware CXC162037R9J005. Can anyone tell me why my track ID does not work, it says 'Music Recognition Service Failed, resend clip? however it did used to work. Also I cannot scan my networks more than three times because the scan button becomes disable, then I have to turn off my phone and then switch it back on again. Last thing when I dial someone it sometimes does not connect it makes a busy tone and then it disconnects or it says that it’s the wrong number when I know it’s the correct number and the person I am calling is not busy (because I had the other phone with me).
I will be grateful if someone can help me. Thank you.

"picture options"
please make sure that you'll see the broken lines around the photo.it indicates that you are ready to edit the photo then choose "resize"
then on you have the choice to resize the photo w/ picture scaling 640x480/ 320x240/160x120
