Sorry excuse 4 a WM, 15 Feb 2010the camera on the w995 does suck when you get to half zoom ... moreFor heavens sake all cameras with digital zoom distorts the photos cos thats digital zoom its crap. If yet want zoom that does not use an optical zoom. No phone has a decent digital zoom because digital zoom never is good.

Daniel, 05 Feb 2010i am from iran\Tehran and bought it today 5th Feb by 400 us... morethe camera on the w995 does suck when you get to half zoom it starts getting fuzzy even with close objects i know i own the phone dont listen to this guy hes lying to his self and you by saying this camera is better than any camera on any phone thats all that sells this phone is hype about a great 8.1mp cam that simpily is not there

sony is king of mobile comparing with others but(w995) music clarity is very low compare with other sony mobiles

Hi, question to all of those that have the W995, I really want to know if the camera really takes bad pictures? I currently own the W980 and I'm sorry to say, but the pictures are not good at all (no details since no macro mode). Thanks.

se w995 is a gd phone,but it's should more btter if have enough specification like all in 1. .it will call the great phone in the world.haha.

You're right, I am a music mania so I always prefer music phones than non-music phones and I prefer Sony Ericsson walkman phones than the others. I have some questions:
1) is it me, or does chargin through the computer take more time then through the power outlet?
2)Is it my earphones, or are all sony ericson earphones just hard to connect?

ashish, 09 Feb 2010dear i mean to say if you doesnt wnt to slide your phone ag... moreDude, bounce gave you the right advice for what you wanted. Set automatic keylock on. Just go to Settings-General-Security-Automatic Keylock and set it on, after that the keypad will lock automatically in 15-20 secs so you don't have to slide it up and down every time you want to lock your keys.

babygal, 12 Feb 2010hi fren for ur info all the SE ph msg tones is only for 10sec.ya the msg tone is short bcoz it is automatically placed as per the msg ...sms stands 4 "short message service" if u wnt tht if u receive a msg n if u selected a song wch is of 3 min will work on msg,will nt it only work for few seconds just to save ur phone battery life, imagine if u receive 20 msgs a day n it plays the whole damn music wch u wnt, thn u will complain tht the battery life is nt gud...just thing abt ths u will get ur ans...

Pls tell when you updated and particulars. Price as gone down half, still never upgraded firmware.

I just got this phone and it was the best investment ive ever done concerning phones. The sound quality of the mp3 player is astonishing and the equalizers it offers is the most convincing so far. Also 8gb memory card is perfectly enough for this phone since the internal memory is almost never enough. I also think that this phone is very resistant but I would recomend getting a folder of some kind for the display. The colours of this phone is amazing too(better than most of the phones ive seen). The battery life of this phone is also surprisingly efficient although i use all of its functions several hours per day. Last of all, the camera is wonderful and you can get really nice pictures with more than decent quality. Overall, this phone is one of the best on the market at the moment.
