@ audi..ya there is purple fringing ...but it is very less as compared to the 1 which was before update...bt ya still it is slight ..

Got this phone last week. And I really like it.
Is there a nightmode on the camera? cant seem to find it. Also cant seem to block callers unlike back in my z610

@ agnaye...i appriciate that u took interest in w995 specs...bt the thing is ...w995 is a walkman..n GSM arena also said that its best in its class in terms of music...so u cant compare n86 to w995...yes the camera of n86 is bit gud at night but is equal in daylight...
Neways guys like all u guys i was also like investigating about cell phones before purchasing but i face to face saw n86 n w995...n i found that w995 was fast , sound was way loud than n86 ..camera was nice ...more over guys screen is way bright than n86...believe me sunlight ligiblity on n86 $ucks..n w995 is also bright in daylight...yes but da camera of n86 is lil bit better...but ol in ol w995 is a better package i took ma w995 2 months back for 25500 n at that time n86 was 24500 then also i took w995...coz its looks r way better than n86..it has metal finish..its amazing..guys go n compare n86 n w995 n u ll see da difference..
n ya w995 has hell lot of applications preinstalled ...like track id its amazing as if u dont noe da name of the song it will let u noe...i mean there r hell lotta things in w995 as compared to n86 n w995 is very fast too..

They both have similar audio quality, although the THD on the W995 is a lot lesser (like it says in the review)but then again it would be very hard to tell them apart because they both must sound incredibly good.As big a Nokia fanboi I am, I have to say the W995 has a better camera with good hardware and interface. But the N86 has a better screen, OS and a ziipy interface. However the W995's construction would find favour among most users. At the end of the day, I think it would be easier to decide by looking at the price of the two phones. The W995 is selling for around INR Rs. 25,000 and the N86 which also started at that price is down to a little more than 20,000 bucks. I hope this helps answer your question.

i observed that when you press the shortcut key and navigate thru it by pressing left and right i found that screen white or grey colour frame around the actiity menu is changing slowly from grey to whote or something, mean slow change in colour from grey or black to the normal color of the background wallpaper color.
is that normal or this is lagging or it needs software update?! don't know and i hope i can explain right.

@Vikram.. Dude.. Look at the stats in Wiki..you will find the following(in the last).. SE is running Bankrupt.. I am not saying that all the companies which is running bankrupt will close down, But its just a fact and you should know abt it before you go bragging with your knowledge.. Boy, you talk like you know everything!! just B'coz you got your hands on W995 & Satio dosent mean that you know every thing about SE, and for your info.. I am using SE from its starting models.. my first was T610 and till now I have used 24 phones and all of it was & is SE.. and by the way.. I checked the cam quality of W995 Bfore posting my comments.. Go and get a life dude..

@selvatar this phone has sip but it dosent support voip...as nokia n86 n most of the n series dosent support voip..only business phones do support it ..

sorry dude this phone dosent have document viewer ...n ya if u want music better screen better camera n better looks ...n if u r a big music lover then walkman is a right choice for u ...its sound is amazin as is has recieved an award by ESIA...mo ova is a WALKMAN...so u can easily make out that it delivers best sound quality in its class..
