The paint comes off too easily which makes it look cheap! With a few apps and games installed it slows the phone down - good job I didnt completely fill 8gb memory card! I could get just as good pics from k770i cybershot which was only 3.2mp cam! W995 definitely NOT quality that 8mp cam should be! The lights wouldnt go out once - both walkman and normal lights were stuck on for 3hours even with the power off! W910i had similar problems although w995 not as bad! Speakers were superb on mine no problem ever! Bass was clear but not as loud in the headphones as w910i or k770i! Buttons was good no probs! Lot better than other se models! One phone I want is the S003 as it has 12mp cam, 1ghz processor and incredible screen! Only prob is japan only but its a w995 thrasher! Look at the specs of it!

nope, not as best as others (that are using rhythmic LED light). But they also bores me cause i'm bored with SAME ORANGE LED colour.. Wake up sony, try to design other stylish LED design (with different colour of course) yet heighten the quality... I'm just using it for 4 months, but i gotten hotter at back battery case, probably the battery problem i guess.. The ribbon also easy to tear up, making the screen dark (common slide handphone problem) ! Lame u.. Others go check at my other comments 'the wonderer'.. Same problem, same issue. I don't want to trust sony anymore...

forgot to mention that, although this phone was in walkman category, it didn't have a rhytmic LED light. Thats really awful, because those are the uniqueness of walkman series. I hope in a future, SONY will gain more ideas that will change the people mentality (showing that they have low quality, too many weakness) for their future products after broke up with 'Ericsson'.. Anyone with me ?

i had using this phone almost 1 1/2 year. First of all, this phone is amazing. Lots of features and stylish (i got a red version). But after i used it for 4 months, it have speaker problem. The bottom speaker didn't produce any sound, that seems really annoying ! I didn't drop it earlier (before this problem), so it didn't make any sense. But after 2-3 weeks, it soon became normal as before (i didn't go to repair it anyhow). It also goes into blackout sometimes (suddenly restarted). But, the good things is, this phones is really can withstand many drop fall for about 2-3 feets including a fall onto a coarse asphalt road (yes, the body is full with scar afterward). Now 3 of my keypad buttons comes off, leaving a naked white buttons (still can use them though). Oh, how sad... :(

its the great fone h have that fone for more than 15 moths the perfomence is very good and able to keep the clear capturing and for listning music love it that is amazing phone

Overall, w995 is still a better phone be it on earphones (with its clear audio tech.) or its loudspeaker.
