it is a excellent phone. i used 2 application at a time and it is worked perfectly. its software is graet it is never hang and tere is no problem with slider. i installed many software like 'ringtone cutter, dictionary, medical dictionary, file lock and many more they all worked perfectly

BEE, 13 Oct 2009sony ericcson w995 is the best phone, if you don`t know how... morePpl today i went 2 sony world n saw d W995.It realy luking nice bt unfortunately its Java UI wch can't operate more than 1 app simultaneously(jst can operate wid Music),wch is realy disappointing,wen i askd abt it to the sales man he told me dat nokia can do dat bt wen u use more dan 1 app dat wil b hanged.Den i askd him" ppl says more stdy more confusion no stdy no confusion den y did u std?" he cudnt rply anythng.Den i told him d reality dat im using nokia for abt 6yrs n usualy operate more than 1 app but hanging pblm occured rarely,bt it doesnt mean u shud old dam java mob.Dats all..If any SE fanboy der den reply my this wch i hv askd 2 d sales man.

can anyone help, recently purchased a w995 but everytime someone tries to send a file via bluetooth, it says that the memory is full, even though the memory is almost empty. someone pleaase help

Hey that was a good one but really is it soooo badyeah! it's a great and superb mobile phone. It almost perfect! yeah, its good but it is bad to your pocket!

I agree with u after spending so much we do expect product to be perfect I know it does no effect the performance but its definetelt irritating when slider shakes as if u r in a train while u r typing or u can say its obsessive compulsive diSorder that it should be perfect how come ur dealer refunded mine tells me to take it toworkshop again spend money n get it tightened

for those who are facing problems especially with sim,battery and network just update ur software..the new software was available quite a long time ago..otherwise w995 is a perfect phone with least faults..
