Download Wayfinder maps for your city to save money otherwise they would be downloaded using data conn. like using Vodafone Live in your case. Wayfinder also shows GPS Connected Icon. Do reply about Google maps working.

hey satya thanks dere r too many green satelites in my fone status...it also shows the speed..thanks dude .it shows that my gps is fine..bt wayfinder still says gps not ready i think its due to that i havnt downloaded maps..

vikram, 24 Sep 2009thank u bt on my google maps da blue dot is surrounded by b... moreVikram, aGPS is used to speed up the process of Cold Start that is when the first time your unit is obtaining the data from the satellites. Ok do one thing, whenever you have time say at nigh; go to the roof of your house. Under GPS Menu there is an option Status info where info about the satellite is shown. Wait for a few minutes. Do not block the GPS Antenna. Hold your unit like shown in booklet provided. You would see Green satellites. Now your phone is ready. After that use any application outside. There is also a setting Disable GPS. If it shows Enable GPS then click it. Without aGPS; Cold start would take some time. Your unit will get the GPS Signals and show you the satellites even if you do not have data conn.

thank u bt on my google maps da blue dot is surrounded by blue circle..that means my gps is not working ..its just that my service provider is predicting my location..i had a word with sony customer care they r sayin agps dosnt works on ordinary gprs..u hav to subscribe to vodafone connect..bt m worried that there should not be any internal problem in my fone gps..m very woried..plz reply

got this phone about a month ago..ive put stcker on the se,8.1 mega pix and m2 mark to prevent it from fading..I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SPEAKER DOWN THE KEYPAD.when ure texting and walkman player is on, the speaker looses its sounds. try to press the side of the keypad see if the sound looses and turns back again..
i had dropped it about 10 inches. i dunno if thats the cause speaker looses its sound.
