i got w810 as well & i love da phone, great phone, no prob whatsoever since 3 yrs ago.. i think its time for me to upgrade and still looking for the best substitute, 1st choice on the list, w995.. since w995 still new in the market, i will KIV... at least i still got my precious w810...

just bought this phone,original set rm 1780.really satisfied!best speaker!good cam!wonderful design!really2 loving it! =)

Hi, I've bought a the W995 which is a network branded phone and I would like to know if it's possible to update the firmware by yourself via seus or does one have to take it into the retail store where it was purchased?
I am asking this because a new firmware version is available but seus tells me i have the latest updates?
My version: 1215-7995 R1EA032 090501 SonyEricsson
New available version: R1EA033
Anyone knows why this is happening? thx

Another phone that sounds good is the ... moreW960 is beautiful but i sold it - 1. it's slow 2. it's hard to use for simple things like messaging and finding contacts
SE Xperia X1, very nice but can its touch interface can be irritating i believe (never used one but I know ppl who do)
i have the W995, and it's the best phone i've ever used thus far (and i've used: Motorola V3i, Samsung D900i, SE W960i, SE W980i (awesome too), iPhone 3G)
You won't regret using the W995, if you like sliders. every aspect of the phone is top notch! No let downs, in my opinion..

By far - the best FREE software you need for anything...weather you want to convert youtube videos to mp3's for you phone or ipod, 3gp video converter, video to flash flv converter etc etc - it has the lot and once again yes this is free, there no viruses, no gimmicks and its brilliant - i'll vouch for that as i use it myself on my Sony Erisson W995 phone.
The site lets you download all the prgrammes at once (20 programmes in total - if you want) or like me if you only want to download say 2 or 3 then fine go ahead.
I would recommend this site to any 1 - and for free ya cant go wrong !!!

Hi All,I received only one response. Isn't there anyone who is experienced using Mega Bass and Clear Bass together and could differentiate between the two. I need your responses please.
Which is Superior, Mega Bass or Clear Bass?????.
Any one knows which of the two; Mega Bass or Clear Bass is better.I believe W995 doesn't have Mega Bass feature. I use W580i and its Mega Bass is awesome. I am planning to buy W995 at the same time i want to make sure if Clear Bass is superior to Mega Bass. Please share your experience.Please post your views if you have listened to Mega Bass and Clear Bass together

Hello all-
I am on the look for a new phone. Currently I am using my SE W810i. It is a very nice phone, but I've had it for more than 3 years and I think it is time to upgrade. I bought a stupid touch screen LG KU990 cell phone and I hated it. The touch screen was slow and I hated how hard it was to write a text message without pressing the wrong letter every time, b/c of the stupid touch screen. Lets just say I like to push buttons. :) So I can't decide and I need your opinions. I don't want waste any more money on phone. I want the phone to be SE, to have WIFI and to have buttons. I don't mind it to be both buttons and touch screen, but I need the damn buttons. I have looked and looked and I can't decide which one is better. It is between SE W995 and XPERIA X1. What do u guys think ? Or should I wait for the SE Aino to come out in September. Which one has a better performance and which one is worth the $ ? Thanks :)

w995 is a great phone ive had the black one a few weeks and i love it but i am having trouble getting a movie loaded onto it if anyone has any suggestions or tips on how to load video it would be a great help

SRK, 09 Aug 2009hii ppl ..i m buying a phone but m confused betwen 4 phones... moreIPhones(All three version of them) are the most overhyped, overpriced phone ever. If you value user interface above all else, and have the money, go for it.
SE w995 is overpriced as of the moment, but not that overpriced compared to IPhone. Great feature all around and Great music though the 8MP camera is subpar.
Nokia N86 is the best all around phone as of the moment with a great 8MP camera. Symbian OS means you can install lots of 3rd party applications. But firmware is currently unstable and quite unreliable.
Out of your choices, I would choose the SE w995. However you should go take a look at Samsung Jet before deciding.

Hi to all specially to "anonymous" who always satisfied me to all information i wanna know.
= What do SE means in W995 specs that GAME is "motion based" ? thus it mean no need keypod control? just move, turn right, left, rotate, revolve the whole unit to control the game ? like i deed to ipod of my fren, i play racing and i made the whole unit like the wheel of racing car, turn left ! right ! left again then BANG !!! CRASH !!! :-)

not all nokia and samsung phones are made in china,in fact more than 90% of samsung phones are made in korea and nokia too have a factory in masan,korea for more than a decade and a half now.i have a nokia 6210s which is made in korea.
