not all nokia and samsung phones are made in china,in fact more than 90% of samsung phones are made in korea and nokia too have a factory in masan,korea for more than a decade and a half now.i have a nokia 6210s which is made in korea.

Most of research and new development doing in Japan under Sony cooperation. The all electronic parts are made by Sony Japan. The biggest Sony Ericson plant in China. Newest Sony Ericsson plant started in India.

Rah, 10 Aug 2009Hi All, Any one knows which of the two; Mega Bass or Clear... moreTechnically Clear Bass is better but at least for my ears the Mega Bass was much better. That's why I kept the W580i for almost 4 months,but had to sell when the W995 came out. Mega Bass is so deep and thumping where Clear Bass is not that deep or thumping,it's leaned towards the Stereo sound more than Bass,but one thing,Get a Good Headphone,then you'll feel the Best music and Bass from your phone. The stock headphones ain't good.

Battery backup is 3 days, Speaker sound and reception is awesome. Camera display is only good in day times. It automatically change to night mode, when the background is dark. This cannot be changed as function. Daylight camera snap is really Good. Music is clear and live-ly.

Hi All,
Any one knows which of the two; Mega Bass or Clear Bass is better.I believe W995 doesn't have Mega Bass feature. I use W580i and its Mega Bass is awesome. I am planning to buy W995 and i want to make sure if Clear Bass is superior to Mega Bass. Please share your experience.Please post your views if you have listened to Mega Bass and Clear Bass together

Eldamri, 10 Aug 2009did anyone compared w980 and w995's audio quality via earph... moreI have the W980 and W995. No difference in sound quality by using headphone. when using speakers, W995 is MUCH better. W980 and w995 are using same battery but w995 last almost double as long as W980

Dear All, I have a question, I want to know if any VOIP program is working on this phone allowing me to make Skype calls. I installed Skype light and mini Fring ( both Java applications ) and both are running fine but they just allow to chat and not to call. I really want a working program allowing me to use skype calls. If the software need to be bought, no problem, as long I can use my phone to make skype calls I am happy

Perhaps the Innov8 can do everything better than the W995 but the W995, in my opinion, does everything adequately well providing a good user experience with the definite advantage, again in my opinion, of looking way better and feeling way better (in the hand).
Non-smart, yes, but has a superb interface.
Cannot install third party applications, yes, but has many pre-installed features and java apps are downloadable.
Inferior video recording and camera (compared to Innov8), but acceptable to capture those moments which one would need to capture.
These disadvantages (and others you might cite), imo, are just hairsplitting, but again this is my opinion so no need to fight back :).
I chose the W995 over the Innov8 because it looks much better and does everything I need it to do even though it costs more.
The advantages the Innov8 has over the W995, I would think, only appeals to and actually are advantages to a few people of all those who actually purchase mobile phones in the world. Peace..

jon, 09 Aug 2009to nick ur samsung is a brick w995 is a good size brick or no brick, the innov8 is cheaper and is a far better handset.
name one thing the w995 does better than the innov8. just one!
