I agree that the omnia hd is a great handset,I was about to pick one up but opted for the w995 for 2 basic reasons.1,I'm so sick of shiny black plastic fingerprint magnets and the inevitable constant wipedowns,(w995 is matt and metal).2.Sunlight visibility.S.E. handsets have always excelled in both quality displays and super sun visibility.
A friend got the omnia hd last week,and the display under the harsh Greek island sun is almost invisible.
True,indoors and at night the omnia rocks.I also love the music visualizations on the omnia.
At any rate the w995 is really a high-end unit and I love using it !

This phone sucks compare to Samsung Omnia HD. Don't know why it has the highest ratings out there. No other phone on the market have better features than the Omnia HD. Omnia HD is the best of the best phone right now.....peace!

When you go to calculater there is a converter app built into it,,it seems hidden but reveals another step towards basic symbian in a feature f]one..

If you go toorganiser,then application,,then go to sony erison world symbol to go online (data costs apply)there are a few free apps for your fone..I got getjar app,water level spirit level plus other ,,try it.

It will work a lot longer then wireless with two little batteries. Noise cancellation rules.
And also, those wireless earphones look weird when used.

IT is not a smartfone it has a proprietry o/s but considering whats packed into it theres not much it cant do within reason..I have had lots of smartfones but sat down last week and wrote down everything i do with a fone,these newer feature fones just about fit the bill,,i just have to see if yahoo go,,shozu,,etc work on w995 which i will have to do soon..So far mines got good browser,,bbc i-player and you tube client built in..Will download opera mini and google maps as well so in essence it has just about all things covered even stopwatch/timer and torch which without third party software series 60 STILL cannot do..

Anybody know which one definitely offers a better music experience:
1) HBH-IS800 - stereo head set
2) HPM-88 - stereo head set
Not sure which to buy...plz help
