since i switched from nokia to sony ericsson, i only went back to nokia to try E71, but now my E71 is in the drawer.. i use my Xperia and my k850...
by the way, i also have my Samsung U900 in the drawer...

hi.i am in a really big dillema here.i have recently got the x1 and it only lets me zoom if i select a smaller resoulution would it be the same on the w995 as the camera means lots to me?

in case of Audio quality Sony ericcson is the best , it's because of W995.. this new Walkman phone took the Clear audio experiance feature to the next level.
before the arrival W995 , Nokia Xpressmusic 5800 was the best music-centric mobile phone in the market.
But now not even the Xpressmusic 5800 can compete with SE W995 , the Audio quality of Sony ericsson W995 matchers that of Apple IPOD touch !!

if you look i phone by specs, its very week. its the experience which kills you. the touch experience, speed, multi touch and most importantly ever updating applications are outstanding.
i dont think anything else matches i phone

I am going to save money to buy this phone, it will be released by the 2nd quarter of the year, meaning the end of June, it's almost a perfect well featured phone, but the price is a bit expensive !!

Nokia Express Music phones are very competitive with Sony Erricsson New Walk man phones... Have you ever tried their newly released Music phones (5220 and 5320) with SE w series... I have... I checked my nokia 5220 phone (not a costly phone at all) with w 580 with X bass (comparatively higher price) using the SAME EAR PHONES... To do so I have to use a 3.5 mm ear buds which suits for both... But I used NEITHER nokia NOR SE original head sets..
Tell You one thing... Nokia comes with very poor Head Sets and inbuilt speakers making their high end product down... People who are lazy to buy a better head set would rely on the original poor quality head set of Nokia and will always complain about the very poor sound quality...
On the other hand SE W series come up with better Head sets which give you an awesome sound quality with considerable bass enhancement.. But if you can use the SAME head sets for both phones in order to compare... THEN You'll see... NOKIA BEATS SE...!
But still SE phones are the most sexy looking phones ever made... Nokia is in a lag regarding to that fact...
I would like to ask one question from Nokia people... Why are you giving us a very poor quality head set while offering us a maximum sound chip with your phone...? Just why...?
I hope they must do something if they really want to sell their product to lazy people who just want to buy the complete product with quality peripherals...

But deffinitely there're better headphones than the HMP-77 , check for music accessories at the Sony ericsson Home page.

SE walkman phones are much better sounding than any Nokia music phone.
WARNING:- Don't use your Nokia phone to play music for extended time, they may explode as Nokia phones have heat up problems!

if u just compare a dedicated mp3 player, with other mp3 player.. u will not find much different.. because ur ear is not a bat ear....
if u compare n77/n78 (for example) with se w9** / ifone / ipod (for example) then, u absolutely will find the diffrncs..

what all apple has is overhyped garbage!!!! iphone is not better in anything when compared with my 2 years old SONY PHONE except screen size and those ipod they are much inferior in sound quality as compared with SONY WALKMANs.
