is it normal if i place my phone under a bright light become brighter the screen if i placed it under a low light become low light the screen also..and what is sens me means

@julie, i'm not having any problems at all. i just stated my disappointments on this phone. maybe my expectations were too high.
i hope SE will give us the option to adjust the size of the fonts.
fontsize aside, this is still the best phone for my needs. walkman with clear audio technology and a decent casual digital camera...and it's a phone too (with a very straight forward UI)

...my wife's 5310 sounds rubbish compared to my old k750i using the same headphones.

Nokia 5800 givs a balanced, soothing sound which is comfortable for the ear.
se w995 gives too much detail, hurts the ear sometimes!!!

Take back cover off, looking at the back on the right hand side just above W ( walkman) side button is a black hook, just put it there, put back cover on & it stays put with no probs to the back cover at all

No had no water damage, phone working great just the signal bar is 1 but goes to full when i use to text or call, or received text or call.

Ashish you can go for it. Guys update your phone's firmware for signal problem. It has been solved. Julie i guess you spilled water on keypad. Let it dry.

Hi,
I am currently in US and planning to go for Sony Ericsson W995 walkman unlocked phone. I am currently holding a T-mobile prepaid phone.
I am a bit confused between W995 US version vs International version (W995a vs W995); wondering once am in Bangalore (India), whether this phone will work
as expected.
Note: As this phone is quad-band, so there should not be any issues with this phone depending on the location where its used (India or US); m also not planning to go for any 3G services activation in near future.
Any pointers please.

any key to press so that i can keep silent my phone if someone is calling me without cancelling their call. i tried to press anykey nothing. only send busy tone..anyone can help.
