i just bought this phone today i trade in my samsung B5722C touchscreen and i really hate it so after used it for 5 days i change to W995 i found the signal is poor i tried to put the sim in my other phone n82 the signal is full bar i put it back again to SE same signal is poor. i want my n82 but i like this also but the only problem is the signal.

I just got my SE phone, the signal sucks. However, I find the reason, this is b/c the phone is manufactured in Azerbaijan. Everyone needs to check the place of manufacture. In order to do so, you need to enter *#06# on your phone. A serial number will then appear. check the number with below info. You should return the phone immediately if it's a bad phone. Hope it helps.
IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 0 , 2 or 2 , 0 this means your cell phone was assembled in
Emirates which is very Bad quality
IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 0 , 8 or 8 , 0 this means your cell phone was manufactured in
Germany which is fair quality

Finland which is very Good

owned w995 for 2days now and my disappointed for the ff:
1. can't change the font size
2. phone lags whilst scrolling videos (i only have 38 music videos)
3. imo, my k750i's 2MP camera is better than this. i mean when i try to zoom on the pc screen, k750i captured more detail than my w995.
4. too much treble on the included headphones. the one that came with my w800i is better (more balanced and deeper bass) so i'm still using that old headset with this.
5. media go's optimization reduced a little frame rate on the music videos. now i will try a 3rd party software to convert my videos for this phone.
i was thinking w995 = k750i + w800i but it is not.
regardless of this, i'm still happy with w995 and will be using it until it won't work anymore...

guys i bought this brand new phone today but i am really pissed of one thing that my 8GB card has only 3.34 GB of free space..more over i found total of 65 videos in it...mostly named "Behind the Scenes of Bab El Hara"....and some ring tones with the same name and the phone shut down 2 times unexpectedly even the battery was like 42% left...so please guys help me I live in Jeddah and I bought this phone from Falasteen Street. Thanx

FONT problem, 22 May 2010i noticed that when u changing ur font, nothing happen u w... mored f0nt dat was stated there is n0t for sms messaging.i think its for f0nt when browsing the web.tnx
