Just because of the 3 inch screen i have not bought this phone. :(
anyone knows if sony is comming up with xperia active 2 with a bigger screen/battery?

PROBLEM ON MY ACTIVE
i have a problem on my active... the brightness of my active was flickering.. and wenever i unlock my phone, the brightness was on a high or even more than 100%, and theres some lights on the lower right of the screen,. i dnt know if its normal or not.. pls help me.. does anyone habe the same prbolem?

i have been using this phone since january 2012. I have less problem with this phone. The only thing is the screen is small for those who like using launcher. the only problem i have is when i got 2 call in the same time. the voice of the caller hear like a noise. is it anyone have this problem?

I have this phone for about 3 months and i'm verry pleased for this choice. it has only 320 mb of INTERNAL memory, but you cand expand it with 32 GB of Externel memory and i think this is enough for anybody. The battery life is a liitle short if u use wireless, gps or internet surfin verry offen. But it's a program caaled Juice Defender that is monitoring yours connection and cut it when the phone goes in stanby mode. This can increase ur battrey life twice as much. I like this phone because is verry small comparing with other smartphones and it's robust. It has no bugs in software and the signal is good. i made underwater pictures and it gets wet inside the first case only, but this is normal. The only bad thing in case u use it underwater is that the earphone and the microphone gets wet on outside and the sound level drops to verry low. In this case u have to clean those holes by blowing those little holes. On GPS i use IG and it works fine. it's not the perfect phone but perfect does not exist. The screen is small but in gains point on lower space in pockets. I wanted to buy Galaxy S II but it was too big for me and too fragile. In the end i can say i'm pleased with my choice. It's a smartphone that can do almost anything that galaxy and Iphone does but u don't have to be worry to broke him or it's getting wet. A verry good choice for active people or clumsy ones :)

Any idea if the Active(Black/White/White) is available in India? Has anyone bought the same in India? The other color, Black/Orange/White, is available but i personally don't like the bright 'fluorescent' orange band around it.

Well, my Xperia Active is exactly what I was expecting, a Great phone for sports. The basic problem is battery life, but if you are a REAL SPORT person you don't need a phone for chat for 3 hours or surfing the net frecuently. I use to hear music while jogging and take some panoramic pictures and the battery energy remains for at least 2 days. I'm really happy with it, but if you are a geek I don't recommend you.
