Well, my Xperia Active is exactly what I was expecting, a Great phone for sports. The basic problem is battery life, but if you are a REAL SPORT person you don't need a phone for chat for 3 hours or surfing the net frecuently. I use to hear music while jogging and take some panoramic pictures and the battery energy remains for at least 2 days. I'm really happy with it, but if you are a geek I don't recommend you.

A nice little phone (which is a break from most bulky smartphones)with neat design. Comfortable in a pants' pocket and very sturdy. Its battery is a little weak though. But generally a nice piece of hardware.

This phone is just awsome that u dont to worry if its dropped badly, accidently jumps into your bathtab or maybe soup or maybe in pool. The flaw can be filled by some software such as go theme, go locker and others.

this is just awesome. except battery its more than just awesome. few days ago i put it under water. it still working marvelously.

bought the active just one month after it was released, so now i've had it for almost 3 months and it has not shown any defects whatsoever. The only complaints being low battery life and the lack of a front camera. I've upgraded the firmware through SE online and am eagerly awaiting ICS (which SE has promised during the second quarter of 2012). I've been through several nokia's and samsung's over the years and this happened to be my first SE purchase and i am happy to say that my next phone too would definitely be an SE!

Beware of the Following when you buy Xperia Active:
Problems
1.Light Bleed
2.Frequent Reboot
3.Some Display problems
4.Won't turn-on after update
Note: After you buy your Xperia, let them update it for you. If the above problem occurs it will be detected already if not,

Battery is quite bad, but it is possible to buy more powerful battery on the net, so it is not a solid reason not to buy this phone.

Great small mobile. Wonderful to be able to use in pouring rain. Really great UI. The screen is small but of very good quality. But for extensive browsing or video get a bigger one.
BUT, battery life is terrible. It just lasts a day for me. I do have wifi, blue tooth, sync, and just about everything else on. But that's why I got a smart mobile. But even when all above is turned off it still eats a lot of battery just sitting there!! Compared to my company iPhone4 that seems to consume battery just as used, the Active actively drains it so that you're down to 98% as soon as you just load a page.
But if you can live with the small screen and charging once a day it's absolutely great!
