it has been delayed to 26th of september, but for example i have talked to sony ericsson support, and they said that in my region it will be available only in november.

veer, 15 Sep 2011How can you be so sure that Xperia active is better than De... morespecwise, the defy is better at internal memory, battery and screen. Active as you can see has a minimalist, rugged look, better internet performance, better camera, and has wet finger tracking, the defy+ is an all american phone, a show off, big battery lock, a "hundred" screws on the sides, and shampagne corks to cover the microusb and mp3 holes. the xperia active is for the person that in the course of the week goes rockclimbing, or sufring, or in the woods, it can take pictures, you can listen to music and enjoy it thru the walkman player, browse the internet when in town to look for different locations to explore, and has a gps to guide you, it is true that the defy does that too, but sony does it in a better way. i'm saying this because i had a defy for a couple of days, but not impressed at all, it is to big to carry it even for a jog in the park.
you may be a motorola fan, they are good phones but at this category, the active has the right stuff to perform.

What an ugly phone, even samsung B2100 with its antenna design looked better than this, sorry, SE, you got it all wrong with that giant lanyard loop down there!

the release date in my country,romania, is in november, so is going to be a long wait for the phone, hope it worths it.
