Ok well nick, seeing as u are just comparing dual cores vs single cores.
Its like saying u must buy a mustang gt500, just coz it has a powerful engine, where as u could purchase a audi R8, which is beautiful and has power.
Nowadays its not all about the "best" and the phones with "all features" coz even ur sgs2 doesnt have infared?
so yeah, its up to the customers preference, not the propaganda u are pushing out.

I agree with cell. I want to have a 2nd fone cuz I need a personal number and my current fone is a dual sim.. if there would be a dual sim like this beauty,,

Anonymous, 24 May 2011u mean apn settings? to to widgets..its there, maybeya, trying to add a APN from Wireless & Network menus. Sometime when i add one successfully, and then try to make changes and save again, the apn setting will disappear from the listing...Weird strange man =(

Guys, I am having a problem. I am using Logmein Ignition on my Arc to access my home desktop PC while I am away from home. The problem is that this application requires that I place my finger on the touch screen and drag it to make the mouse pointer on my desktop move correspondingly. The problem is that my Arc's display starts shivering if I keep my finger on the screen and drag it across eventually resulting in my mouse pointer shivering at my desktop and I end up clicking on the wrong icon or link. The problem is not with Logmein application because I noticed this problem when using the browser just 1 week after purchase. This is not a problem with the browser either. This happens in any screen or application I am on. You touch the screen and keep your finger steady and the display starts shivering or if we move the finger a little bit and then keep it like that, it starts shivering. Arc owners please try this on your phone and let me know if all have the same problem or if it is just my phone. If it is just my phone, then I shall use the guarantee card to get it fixed. Thanks in advance...

[deleted post]First of all u either are a big Businessman or big BS to have 4 cell phones , and i think ur a BS coz obama don't carry that many cellphone (or u can get one dual sim phones), and second what app there's now that needs a dual core to tell that is more powerfull, and who told u that SE will still stick to one core ... man ur getting a costly phone for nothing and when the use of dual core will be essential than maybe i'll get SGS2 oooohhh wait there will be a good looking dual core SE with a fair price then so no need....

At the beginning I was aiming for SE Arc to replace my malfunctioned HTC Touch-Pro2, then SGS2 came up with it's suburb specifications I waited for months for it's release....I couldn't wait no more..... and I got the Arc....Magnificent, Slim, Light, Stylish Design,Very Very Fast and the Screen is absolutely SUPER. I do not think I will miss the SGS2.... SE ARC, by far, is the best cell I have ever purchased.

smaller is that it has a 5 mp camera and the bigger one is that my operator dosent sell this phone. its a nice phone btw. :)
here in croatia a big question is wether if gs2 will come(talked with some sellers)

Help !! I just get my Arc from singtel Singapore. Whenever i try to add a new APN, and 'save', it is never been added at all.I tried to reset to factory setting the Arc, and retry again , still cannot add =\ Any kind soul can advise?? Tks.

AnonD-8780, 24 May 2011xperia neo is very nice handset,smooth,have loads of featur... moremy friend in my house i have 3 samsung tvs and my pc monitor is samsung... i love the design of all them and the performance. btw my current phone is also samsung. but since wave i didnt see even 1 phone that looks different from one another and i hate that small tablet called galaxy s2. i dont bash other brands. btw i dont like neo because it is to fat for me. and the secondary camera is badly designed. i am not saying that gs2 is a bad phone infact its the best phone in the market(for its performance; not design)

Phone's tech specs are very nice. 1 question though. Does this phone can recognize handwriting? I mean, does it have a handwriting recognition feature? I'm planning to buy this phone and there are quite a few times I'd like to write instead of pressing keys when texting.

I used arc & its performance is comparable to dual core phones. Arc also looks better than a lot of phones, nice to hold in hand.
Stop your tactics to promote other phones at this forum. You look like a desperate fan boy without true knowledge of arc.

We need not pay attention to this guy ....because figures speak for themselves . In India the Arc has twice been listed as 'SOLD OUT' by a very popular e-commerce site and now is listed as available on booking . This shows that its success . Secondly I already this guy that he should now how to compare devices and understand categories . The Arc will have its dual core version probably by end of this year and that is what will need to compare with SGS 2/2X/Sensation .
