Tel2, 02 Apr 2011I seriously don't know why gsmarena choose to antagonize al... morelisten you snob! GSMArena is the only site that has so far the least (or even zero) biased reviews. They treat every phone like they own them in their daily life and treat them properly. And about the Xperia Arc, I like this phone and so do GSMArena as you can see this phone in their top 3 daily interest phones. Also their review tells that this a great, great, very great phone. Unfortunately this phone is coming at a time and situation dominated by geekylicious stuff such as dual-core processors, very powerful graphics, HDMI, 3D cameras and displays, etc. and as follows. So dont worry. GSMArena is also concerned like you only due to its availability now in a crowded sea of ultra-geeky smartphones. So, if you like it, then buy it. If not, then dont bother nitpicking about it. I have this phone and I LOVE IT despite some of its flaws. And I also agree with their this review. So go for what your heart wants. No harsh feelings I ever meant to you.

I think it's okay there are no front facing camera, but there is one thing that make me feel disappointed, why there is no auto brightness for the arc

Seylan, 02 Apr 2011Misty silver or midnight blue? Hmmm....?Most review even GSMarena's preview (not review), they preferred Misty Silver than the Midnight Blue as the blue is a fingerprint magnet. Once both colors are in front of you, from there you can actually decide which one is best for you. Like when I bought my X10, I choose the white X10 against the black.

I think the stats is awesome for this phone...but the pics...they seem to be a bit oversharpened...especially if you look at the photo comparison tools...
wonder if it'll easily break in the middle though :(

[deleted post]So you are talking about the camera only. If you had older Samsung phones and you say that those have a weak camera I believe you. Example my Omnia HD can take awesome photos and videos. Samsung was the first mobile phone manufacturer who made a 10 MP camera phone with 3x optical zoom, so they are good. :) SE is also very good in terms of camera. Motorola is average, HTC is average.

They are good, and they are on the SECOND place in sales. By the way I don't want to fight with you guys, because I like SE too!! :) As I said I like Samsung too, I own a Samsung, and they are great. Some Samsung phones have a weak signal(example my phone). This is sad and annoying, but I am sure that the newer devices have a better signal. )

About the front facing camera, they did a mistake, but you can buy the Neo, or Neo Pro, as I know those have a Front facing camera. :)

th eproblem with sony phones is that they're too delicate to be taken care of.. N another thing, if u mistakingly over-charge it, you've lost it!!!

Now they say d xperia arc is laggin behind in d phone market? I think d specs of the Arc is nice and d quality should be held higher than d specs

This phone shows how far software design can go, it runs incredibly smoothly which sets the benchmark for dual-core phones to beat. All the while its saving the end user money because they didn't use the latest and more expensive dual core processors, but is still one of todays highest quality handsets. Sure, there is more advanced hardware and no doubt SE will jump on the 2-core bandwagon, but by that stage the parts will be cheaper, a good move? The major flaw to this approach is they'll never have the first-mover advantage which lets Apple and Samsung capture the high-end market. This is why so many customers feel like SE hasn't offered them the best of the best. Well I say this phone is a winner. At least for now.

OMG...OMG....again no smart dialing, SE team has gone crazy, dumb or what....!!!??? I immediately drop my long awaited plan to buy this phone due to no smart dialing first and then no front camera. SE you really disappointed, I could not acquire X10 also. Its an insult to Android even, such good phone specs but lack smart dialing, daaaaammmnn.....!!
