Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

While Sony Ericsson use BRAVIA engine to their display, samsung actually do the same thing, they use DNle engine on their S8530 Wave II to its s-lcd display. For those who are saying BRAVIA name is just a gimmick, can you accept if I say samsung are copying SE marketing strategy?

Pavel, 17 Feb 2011BUT arc's display is definitely more friendly for user's e... moretotally agree mate...even i feel the same.i will always give bravia engine an edge over the SAMOLEDs...though m just saying this by looking at arcs demo on you tube !!! and i had SGS so i know how SAMOLEDs are...i might sound bit foolish here but i was never in to fevour of over colour saturation of SAMOLEDs...i know it'll be too early to coment on sonys bravia engine but whatever i saw on demo video of arc...i was impressed by the detail produced on arcs acreen rather than bright undefigned colour screens with a hint of blue tint by SAMOLEDs.
its all about the preefrnce i guess...some of us might will enjoy the bri8 screens of samsungs SAMOLEDs but i will preefer arcs detailed clear screen.it doesnt mean either of em r bad...pros and cons of indivisual will always be there :-)

This cell is awesome. I am keen to buy it. Although secondary camera does not exist but it does not matter to me because there is no use of 2ndry camera in Pakistan.

As a sony fan and x10 user I've been been looking for another sony since sometime now. But after looking at the new galaxy 2, I think sgs2 has topped the arc specs in everyway possible.
xperia play looks like a good option but se took lots of features away from it for gaming.

And as I also bought a samsung s533 wave for my niece at the same price, I can say the X8 is cool enough for the money I hv spent. (More about X8 your can follow it @ its respective forum pages)
Why I prefer Pro rather than arc..., actually I don't. The arc is still more beautiful than the other one, but I just feel the Pro will be more comfortable at any occasion...

Is it the qwerty keyboard or the smaller size? Bcoz imo Arc loocs way cooler, of course every one has his own taste;)

abhi, 16 Feb 2011HTC is great, no doubt abt it but HTC phones have the worst... moreWell, i just saw the updated page of Neo's specs, specs are pretty similar to the Pro, except for querty and of course thinner and lighter body for Neo, so you can go for the that suits you :) and yeah, as far as i know and have seen, HTC's cameras are not as good as SE's at all.

i was literally blown away when i first got my SGS. the screen is incredible. the arc, however, has a LCD screen. never seen one of those before...
