peaky, 11 Jun 2012please please don`t update to ics just got it off went back... moreso far I've using for a week now my only comment is the battery is run out very fast not like before .,i have no problem on bluetooth,but when i downloading games in google play sometimes i got bit delayed and error appears,then i simply switch off the data and on again then it's works fine until i completely downloaded the games.when i first switch on my phone it's a bit laggy but a few mins.it's will restore the normal speed and you will love it how the ICS works even it has a single core...

AnonD-52949, 12 Jun 2012Yesterday I tried to ics update ,p.c companion shows update... moretry to re install your pc companion i mean try to update it first then if it's updated then proceed to update your phone... that's just a simple...and take NOTE:just make sure you follow the proper installation of the software otherwise it's show updated fail or or unable to install software.

After a year of solid good usage, i must say that this mobile is great of you can root it and customize it with another ROM.
The stock ROM is rubbish! And that almost throws away the excellent hardware that this mobile has to offer. Now i have mine with a processor clocked at 1.5ghz, I can move all apps to my sd card, and above all the user experience is ultra fast and smooth.
Shame on Sony Ericsson engineers that can´t take the most out of this mobile......
It still looks great after one year on the market, and in my opinion more beautiful than the new Xperia S....How I miss Ericsson, they really understood the european consumer needs, unlike Sony alone......

Hi all. Is ICS update available in South East UK? I have tried to update my phone, but still nothing even if I reinstall my PC companion. Any idea why I cannot update?

Hi there Does anyone from chennai got the ics update for arc mobile,
As I see many post from people saying they got their mobile update, so when I try to check in my update center its saying your phone is up to date, so does anyone from chennai got updated,
And how is the user experience in using ics, what are the new tweaks we got in it from this previous version,

I'm still not able to update my arc, why? Am I doing something wrong? If I'm checking software info, there is "you have got the latest version"... WHY??? I want ICS...

My camera shutter sound and unlock screen sound became mute (but the setting is sound ON) after connected with Bluetooth earphone.
Please help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

AnonD-5139, 10 Jun 2012updated my ARC to 4.0.4 today and this update looks realy c... moreEven my Xperia Arc runs even faster, smooth and fluid after updating to ICS 4.0.4. It's far better than the Gingerbread. The only thing I have noticed is the bluetooth connection which is not consistent. After I have paired to my Sony Xperia S, sometimes it sends correctly and when you try again, it does not send again. Yes, I am also waiting ICS for my Sony Xperia S and for sure it is totally different UI with the ICS of Arc.
