look the 1st iphone is as the seem shape of Motorola ROKR E6,the design is originated by motorola, only the iphone screen is a larger and a silver line goes around, we don't have a silver line in ATRIX

          Do some research before saying anything.
          The 1st flip phone was made by GTE.
          The 1st colour screen phone was made by sony ericsson & that was T68.
          The 1st camera phone was made by J-phone & was launched in japan.
          U need to do some homework before saying anything.

            2010 marked Sony Ericsson's return to profitability but there were heavy changes that took place in the company - it consolidated its facilities and reduced its workforce by about 4,000 people.

            There were Total 8,450 employees on April 2010

            May abhi you are among of the 4000 people who lost their jobs, NOw trying to bash moto and reduce their sale so you could get your job back

            Last year they had 2000 job cuts

            While SE still backed up with gaint sony still their fire people,

            SO fisd another job.Please do not come to moto forums and fill them with your buggy comments

            At least Moto did not lay off, they sold some divisions, I appreciate them standing in tough conditions alone , the grand daddy of Mobile phone manufacturing, the real pioneers

                The best physical design I ever seen..I really love the shape..it was really close to a perfect smartphone.but Sony ericsson could'nt make it.bcz it has no front-facing camera.I love iphone 4. but I Steve Jobs bcz he is not allowing flash player in iphone....

                    just because most of the time SE followed Moto and Nokia,

                    This is the most basic features of a phone

                    SE start making flip phones and swing phone after motos

                    SE made camera phones after Nokia

                    SE followed musics phones after Motorola

                    SE followed thin phone after Motorola

                    SE made color display phones after Nokia

                    these are the basics LOL:

                    Why is SE always late, To wait and see what others do and imitate it!!!!

                    The above are the basic key features of a phone today

                    all SE do is choose the best basic ideas and concept originally developed by someone else & make some advancements in them to have the best result in market.

                    LOL, at least Samsung does copying better than SE does

SE have a dedicated Japanese market because a lot of Japanese like cuter and nicer looking phones; whereas, in Canada and the states like geekier phones and iPhones.

                              In my comment which I wrote in atrix forum, I never included SE's name. Don't try to fool people.
                              SE was the hero for me, still is the hero & will be the hero.
                              Samsung is still a copycat & by this I mean that they never develop any new tech, all they do is choose the best basic tech originally developed by someone else & make some advancements in them to have the best result in market.

                                Arc has already aimed at a completely diff. market & that market is of people who want a complete balance of technology, entertainment, looks & resonable price.
                                Whereas galaxy S2 & atrix have been aimed at diff. market > the geek market who want the latest tech & the biggest powered devices no matter what.
                                So, galaxy S2 would be a competition but for atrix not Arc.
                                Atrix & galaxy S2 will be priced around $650-$700(carrier free) whereas Arc's max cost will be $500(carrier free).
                                Price diff. puts Xperia Arc in a completely diff. category.
                                Although I said in atrix forum that galaxy S2 rockkks but when it comes to my personal preference when buying a product, I will never buy a samsung product even if they r offering it for free. The premium feel u get in having a SE product can never be replaced by any other brand.

                                    in these forums the discussions should be healthy and not to include any bad words or attacks
                                    I support all the mobile phone industry and I find it very healthy to have such severe competition in the market
                                    soem prople in these forums have lost the meaning of healthy discussion and try like small kids to promote a company by bashing others

                                    I am a proud sony ericasson fan but on the other hand i am considering to get the new Samsung Bada phone , and maybe Gal;axy 2 as well in the future

                                    Our generation should feel lucky that we are in the era of the Mobile phone devleopment and still is at its infancy

                                    in 10 years time we shall look back and see how much we have learned and progressed in this field .

                                    remember , in 2008 5 MP camera phone was a huge stride in the mobile industry and I remember when i got my K850i I was so proud of it ,,,, hence the same thing will happen to the new phone sin 2 years time

                                    But

                                    I belive that in 5 years time all mobile phone will have different approach to the market , since there will come a point that screen , camera , pricessors technologies will come to a saturation point , and manufacturers should think for a new conceppts to market their products
