as we can see that Sony Ericsson has made a great move this year and this will be improved by time
i assume that in 2012 they will match the other companies in hardware side too
as for the software , they have produced the first Android 2.3 even with their small R& section , so they are on the right track
we should applaud sony ericsson for their progress
lets keep the positive faith alive

how many people that will get these advance phones will really benefit from the advance features ?
80% of the consumers get the advance phones just to have them and only use the 30% of its potentials
so ARC is still enough as a phone for the majority of the users

unfortunately Sony Ericsson has Japanese versions for Japan only and eve they have dedicated site for that
this is not helping the international supporters that they crave fo such phoenes
here i dont agree with sony ericsson strategy
even in the past they had these strange policies to have some international phones in some areas only like C901 , and C901 Green heart

I guess with all those great features, this device still lacks a secondary camera which would make this a complete package!

This review is the ARC version of abhi(SE fans here)which he wrote at ATRIX forum
I think he is trying to depend on another brand to bash ATRIX, once I remember abhi said that Samsung is copy cat, but now he is using Galaxsy s2 to bash,
just because ARC is not enough to do that, you have a poor personality,
ARC version of his review, look at ATRIX forum of his version,
Hahaha......
SE x has failed even before the announcing dual cores.
Just take a look at Galaxy S2 specs -
1080 p video rec.
Dual core orion processor with 5x the graphic performance of galaxy S which makes it the only phone in market with best graphic capabilities.

Good phone, but the hardware is still 6 months to late. Today new "flagship"-phones should have dual cpu and a lot faster gpu and 1Gb ram. Galaxy S 2 is a far better choice. If you want the best of the best, a phone from SonyEricsson is still not an option.

Take a look at their 16 Mp camera phone. Sony Ericsson does still believe with Cybershot trademark (and perhaps, with Walkman), the only thing that keep holding them to bring these name back to overseas is they have to compromise for tis and tat while using other companies' OS. The S006 - Slide Cybershot 16.2 Mp is just a feature phone, running on their proprietary os. So far it is only for japanese. If you don't care about smartphone thingy, I prefer this one as their flagship.

SE and HTC are waiting for next generation snapdragons.
from previews this is obvious that new snapdragon is faster than tegra 2
so HTC and SE will be the winner in dual core competition but samsung is making orion and we should wait to know that between orion and new snapdragon which one will be the winner

Sony shoud understand that Samsung is their major competitor in the electronic market and Samsung has succeeded to be the leader electronic compoany in the world due to fact that everything is done South Korea and all co operate in sharing technologies specially hardware
Sony contribution to sony ericsson was and still is harsh ,
if ever Sony ericsson fails and come out of the mobile market then the biggesdt loser would be Sony and not Ericsson
so Sony has too think twice again and consolidate its partnership with Sony Ericsson as a bigger contributer
And as of Ericsson , they are completely in different market now , and not directly linked to daily consumer electronic market that you buy on the shelves
hence Sony has to think more for sony ericsson than ericsson does

It's not working out at all...
Ericsson does nothing but complicate the things for Sony.
Due to SE being a joint venture, Sony's communication with SE is almost null. Sony hardly gives permission to use their technology in SE phones. Morover the headquarters, research facilities, manufacturing units, management of sony & se r located at diff. places making their communication with each other almost impossible. Even the engineers in SE r not the ones which work for Sony.
SE is working as a completely separate entity & getting nothing from sony.
If the mobile department had been 100% sony's part situated at their headquarters in Tokyo than sony's mobile phones would have been the top selling devices in the market due to latest tech implementations from sony & sony would have put much more money into it's mobile division without fearing abt any kind of loss.

1- metal structure
2- stand
3- 8 MP average camera
4- 3.5 mm jack + Sony ericsson fast port combines
5- flawless software
6- easy and fast to use
7- nice size and bottons configuration except the volume botton
8- two cameras front and back
9- rigid and durable design
10- Stereo Speakers and loud and clear too
11- so many bottons to start your walkman
12- wi fi thats works great
13 - simple menu and ful of normal easy features
14 can stand heat and cold , as i tried it in very Sweden winter and hot middle east humid summers
