The ICS 4.0.4 will roll-out starting or anytime this week, so we need to check from time to time through PC Companion and check also if we have the latest version of PC Companion installed in our computer. So anybody who got ICS earlier, we appreciate to receive comments or a short review. Some user of Xperia Arc S is complaining that after upgrading their Arc S it's becoming laggy (note that Arc S has 1.4Ghz CPU while Arc has 1.0GHz).

For our 2011 range, as you know, we began our Ice Cream Sandwich software upgrade with Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V last month.
Now, we are happy to confirm that the remaining 2011 smartphones; Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will start to receive their updates starting from next week.
This software upgrade will be Android version 4.0.4 and the good news is that this latest version will also be made available for Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V users, who received Android 4.0.3 the first time around.

Anonymous, 23 May 2012I am faceing the same problem. my ear starts burning wen I ... moreHi,
I honestly do not know how to resolve the heating issue. My phone gets heated up when it feels like, sometimes on calls or browsing or gaming but not always and i just ignore it.
Regarding transferring photos to computer, connect to PC and choose Connect memory card. Then in PC, open My computer, Open phone memory card and look inside DCIM folder. There would be a folder named 100ANDRO, open it, there you can find all photos and videos taken by the phone camera. Hope this helps.

AnonD-43669, 23 May 2012Please help me guyz, I am facing a problem in my Xperia Arc... moreI'm not sure if this will solve your prob, but anyway it's worth to try:
Download custom home launcher from PlayStore eg. Go Launcher or Launcher Pro, etc then set the new launcher as default home screen. Open application drawer and see if there is only one Play Store app icon in there. If yes, go into Settings - Applications - Manage applications - tap All tab, find and open Sony Ericsson Home, then tap clear data. Then reboot the phone. After restarting go to to Settings - - Manage apps, find the downloaded launcher icon, open and click clear default option. Go back to stand by screen and click home button to set Sony Home launcher as default. Then check the Play Store icon.
