This a great phone which offers some amazing stand out features. It combines the best of Android and the Sony Bravia technology to create an easy to use top of the range smartphone. I own an Arc and the camera and video performance is simply incredible. People are quick to jump on and get a samsung galaxy S2 or an iphone 4s which are often very more expensive alternatives. DONT disregard this phone its fantastic and i challenge anyone to find a better phone, value for money!! This phone for me is superb if you want a good camera and an exciting smartphone experience.

Its a tremendously well permormer... opted for it for its visually brilliant structure(arc)... but now i just love its permormance.... its real smooth and swift... Thumbs Up!!!

Hi guys i am using Xperia Arc for 6 month++ but i cant find the Touch Focus function , everytime i wanna snap a picture it just auto focus but not touch focus , so anyone can tell me or teach me how to use the touch focus please ? thank you

i 'm using xperia arc for 6months++ but it does not have touch focus on the camera function , so i wonder is it me or it do not have touch focus ? hope i can get some answer thank you..

In my opinion the arc is the best camera phone on the market! When I first started using my arc and its camera I was gobsmacked!! The bravia engine screen technology really brings your pictures to life. Along with the 8mp camera and exmore r sensor you can not make a better choice if your looking for a new phone/camera.

AnonD-3744, 26 Nov 2011Hi everyone, I have a question: what does 1080p or 720p ex... morep and i denotes the standard in which the video file is diplayed on your screen. p stands for progressive scanning and i stands for interlaced scanning. files with p(progressive scanning) will be greater size but has higher quality compared to ones with i(interlaced scanning). Commonly p files are better preferred than i files for dvds and bluerays but cable tv people prefer i as it uses only half the bandwidth needed by p signals. 1080p is 1920x1080 resolution and 720p files are 1280x720 resolution. if you have a 1080p screen, viewing a 1080p file is better than a 720p file as it can use the full capability of the screen and show every detail of each frame. the reason why it switches to 576i when viewing the cable tv is because the tv signal that you receive is 576i standard, which means it is 576 pixels vertical resolution(interlaced). your tv automatically detects that it is 576 pixels interlaced signal that it is receiving and so switches automatically to that mode so that it can fit that small 576i video to the mighty 1080p screen without losing the aspect ratio of the frame. the output of ps3 is 1080p and so when you use tv to view ps3 video, it detects the 1080p signal from ps3 and switches to 1080p mode.
