Would like to know how does the phone battery manage with average use or more than average use such as if you were to watch a video clip on it especially given SE reputation for poor battery life?

I have had my arc since release and its still as quick as the day i got it. Im a previous iphone owner and wanted a change, the arc was my choice and ive not regret it.
Specifications are substantial, its easy to use and there have been regular software updates provided by Sony Ericsson.
Above all its a fantastic looking phone, and in my opinion looks and feels far better than other phones in its class.

I have been using this phone for just over 6 months now, and I have to say that I love it, its awesome!
Unlike the majority of my friends and family that have smartphones, my battery easily gets me from morning to night with a moderate-high use.
The Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 currently being used is as good as other handsets, but its not the generic software that sets this phone apart....
The 8.1 MP ExmorR camera is the best I have ever had on a phone (Despite the fact I had a Nokia N8 with a 12mp camera and Xenon flash previously). It excells at taking a poorly lit photo subject and making the best photo I have ever seen on a mobile device!
My most commonly used feature is the 'Facebook Inside Xperia', which links my contacts with their facebook profile to use their fb profile picture as a contact picture and their status updates show in my phonebook. The other feature of Facebook Inside Xperia that I love is the ability to 'like' music on my fb via a little thumbs up icon while I am listening to a track.
Overall, this is THE best phone I have ever owned, and the only reason I can see that I will be getting rid of it is to replace it with the next Sony Ericsson Xperia!

This is one of the best smartphones i've ever used! Super fast with the 1.2ghz processor! It's camera really won me over! Being an 8.1 megapixel camera it really is good quality - also has the exmor R. The screen quality is good and can be seen at most angles even in intense sunlight! When sony ericsson released this they really did up their game.

i really like sony ericsson product since i first had it in way back 2003,i'd like the quality and designed as of now my old T-610 model still kicking batt.not yet been replaced compared to other brand quality call and i still using it for my roaming.But now i have this new XPERIA ARC it's simply amazing i call it "The Beast".my friends and relatives is also switching the brand because they knew the quality of sony ericsson that i had, keep up the good work guys!!!

After synchronization is done it comes back to normal.
Maybe you should limit a bit more

i bought a older version of the X10 online, i can not get my MMS pics to wrk. i finally got it off china mobil and running on t mobil but t mobil is not a network that works in my state.. Anyone have a GSM or GPRS coding that they think might work? Anything is worth a try, i dont want to have to buy a new $300 phone casue i cant i figure this out.. Im a cell phone rep and this is beena challenge for my whole comapny. the setting in the phone are very strange.. anything is worth a try..

I have now owned this handset since about April this year and I've gotta say it's in a completely different league to any phone I've ever owned before. I love how slim line and sexy lookin the handset is. But it's not all looks, it's got good personality too!
I love the Facebook integration such as birthday reminders copied into your calender is dead handy. You can also like songs on facebook as you are listening to them, and view your facebook photo albums in your gallery on the handset. I also love the camera quality and sunlight legibility. I have taken many great pictures and will be taking many more. The Bravia Engine ensures all the pictures are crisp and colourful.
