I got the chance to compare my Arc S w/ Galaxy S2 when I went to a mall the other day. And I have to say i'm quite impressed w/ my Arc S. It can match the s2 in terms of browsing and homescreen speed. Plus the color on the s2 is not that better than my Arc S. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to test the sound quality of the s2.

Apart from the crack above the proximity sensor (mine's small, though noticable since the phone is white), this is indeed a decent device. Bought myself an IM820 HDMI cable and a DK10 dock and paired it with a Logitech keyboard/mouse combo. Can do some light internet browsing (news, email check etc) without having to wait for the computer to boot. For all I care this is the future of computing; this sort of functionality is what's going to kill off the desktop, laptop, heck even tablet computers in the upcoming future.

It's a very good phone at the price of 250 euros,because:
-the screen is very bright ,vivid colors,decent blacks,all with Bravia Engine;
-the battery is decent:5h of video playback,3-4h of web browsing(at 100% luminosity)
-the Android 4.04 update;
-very good headphones;
-very thin;
-can do very good photos;
-CPU+GPU don't have any lagg(if you use task manager to clean RAM).
I recommend this phone!

Shaleen, 28 Aug 2012Yesterday i've got the update 4.1.B.0.587 via udate center ... moreI sort of wished I had an arc, (maybe my girlfriend will upgrade soon and let me have hers:) I am quite intrigued to see how good it is hooking up the phone to tv for gaming in HD, and then using the usb connection for an xbox or psp controller.

Yesterday i've got the update 4.1.B.0.587 via udate center i've done it through wifi and i must say this update is awesome the touch experience is super smooth now. No lags in gaming even play HD games like shadow gun. So those who were cribbing because of ICS update can update their phone and can feel the changes.
