Hey I Updated My Arc S to ICS. Its really not slow. but my problem is that my apps keep crashing. Especially my HD games. Anyone having this problem. Is there a fix

it is a need to upgrade arc s? because, after reading your comments. it seems that when you upgrade the phone. it becomes laggy.

I bought this phone 3 weeks ago, I found it excellent in use and smooth, but the battery is not holding for the full working day (8 hours only) and it needs to be charged twice or more during the day.
pls advise on the solution.

Its tota... moreI don't think Xperia Arc/S is upgradable to OS Jelly Bean because I understand Jelly Bean is only compatible for a dual-core with 1GB of RAM. Look at all 2011 Xperia family already upgraded to ICS, majority who upgraded said that their Xperia becomes laggy and most of them even recommended not no upgrade and remain their Gingerbread OS. The main issue there is the 512 RAM only. That's the reason why I don't upgrade my Xperia Arc S to Ice Cream Sandwich OS. I will just wait ICS for my new Sony Xperia S which ICS will work well because Sony Xperia S has 1.5GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB of RAM.

Aj wolf , 09 May 2012guys i have a SE arc s there is somethig not right going on... moreyes i m hving the same problem but its a software problem i asked the service centre people just get a software updated once again it will be solved i hope so aldough i have not upgraded it yet..

Hey Guys just got the Arc S updated to ICS and I advise please wait for the second update of ICS...The upgrade isn't tht great ...most of the apps are still buggy with ICS so everytime u open an app it gives an error and when u press wait it then functions properly..the graphics hasnt been upgraded at all..actually i feel that the Gingerbread graphics were much better..Hope Sony fixes the graphics soon..hope u guys feel this Helpful !!

Update to ICE 4.0 for ARC S , the speed is ok, the same as Gingerbread 2.0 . And it brings new feature. however, if u like ur Gingerbread, there is no need to update as it doesn't improve on the capacity but new feature yet not a lot. whenever u update it , u can't get back. be with Gingerbread is simply good as it will be no error or crush with the OS.

Wow... Am using Xperia Arc S from past 6 months... Its totally an awesome phone..... Good camera n music clarity....Battery backup is also too good...My phone makes my day... I recommend to buy this phone and enjoy its experience. Now again updated to Android Ice cream sandwich 4.0.3...got lot of new features. Waiting for the next android update Jelly Bean.
