So far I do not see any problems with the ARC S compared to the feedbacks that I read here. It's just a matter of usage. This phone is good in gaming, pictures, videos and browsing. Battery life is taking a while to drain too. I don't experience any issues such as application is stopping all of the sudden or phone turning off automatically. I just have one recommendation to ARC S users, we can save the applications to the SD card to avoid the extra space that it gets on the internal memory this is for the phone to perform faster.

I could not hate this phone more. It crashes / freezes all the time, battery drains really quickly, and every app takes ages to open - and memory always fills up despite having downloaded hardly any apps. It is criminal they are allowed to sell this phone and lock people into plans and be stuck with it. I have over a year left on my plan but will be putting my SIM card back into my old phone, and never buying a Sony again. Absolute crap.

Turns itself off regularly, forces close on every app i have ever downloaded. I have a 16GB memory card in the phone and it says i have no more room for anything, deleted all apps, backed up and deleted all pictures, deleted all messages an phone log, still says i have no memory for anything. Have done a factory reset still nothing, top power on/off button works when it choses, probably the worst phone i have ever purchsed, there is nothing good about this phone

initialy it was 4.1 but after some days it running slow n battery was dischared 50% n shows battery low and shut down phone
so shown sony care center n he told me to convert in to 2.3.4 bcoz their is problem so he did it but my net work wi fi is not working now

Cons:
* Wifi is extremely weak. Friend's Samsung or HTC could receive Wifi signals while my Arc S could not.
* Running some apps with wifi causes heating up on the back. This in turns drains battery
