I am on holiday in the states and got a system update notification, guess what? SE is already rolling out Ice Cream Sandwich to it's high end phones! Keep up the the excellent service Sony!

upgrade to sony 2.3.4 firmware and you will notice the difference, battery life about two days with average usage, faster, smoother and more responsive
go to sony ericsson service centre or do it your computer.
SWYPE input is the best additon on this phone

Really happy with the phone so far really fast, camera on a night out hasn't failed me yet and the hdmi output is useful

I have been the happy owner of an arc s since a few weeks. I must say that at the beginning i was not impressed by it.... I didn't like the case, i didn't like the widgets but zt the end of. The day it works well...the battery last for all day, the camera is nice and also the internet surfing is smooth. It is not the best on the market but i'm satisfied. Well done sony

guys lets admit the fact that "ARC S" is the hittie in the mobile world. "ARC S" is the hottest and sexiest phone so far. Cannot wait to get my hands on her ;)

I think you have to be connected to your provider or carrier internet connection.

1. Very bad battery life, less than half a day
2. phone just go auto-power off for no freak reasons; missed couple of calls not realising the phone auto shut down...super intelligent.
3. battery gets very hot after charging for 30 minutes
4. wifi always unable to connect
looks good outside but bad inside

If it has front camera the price will be higher that it's release price. They know that not a lot of people use it frequently as so the absence of it is a part of strategy to reduce the price!
You look for front-camera-ready phone? Get another! You are greedy for the nice design of Arc? Take it. No perfect phone on the earth! If perfect phone exists, the all the factory will soon shut down!
