I think this handset can use for videocalling by using back camera. it's normal for sony, because they did it in Sony Zylo. No front camera but still can use for videocall. so, you can't see your friend, except you use mirror :). You can find this in Nokia E63 too. That's my opinion, because i have use Sony Zylo and Nokia E63.

If anyone is not fancy about all these updates then gingerbread is good enough for daily usage.

Hey guys
It's been a week since I bought my xperia arc s
And all I got to say is that it's amazing, and I advise everyone to buy it! Or not, just a few ones deserve such a good phone xD
/joking
But! I got 2 problems, low ram and low internal memory:
- We have to do a couple of times a ram wipe, and by apps that do not come with it (we have to download the app).
- The low internal memory is a pain in the ass, even using app 2 sd and other apps, there is still low memory. I want to install games and i can't!
Did anyone solve this issue? Maybe by an app that automatically install apps on sd instead of it's internal memory.

after using the sony ericsson eperia arc s for almost a week i am in love. the screen is amazingly bright and displays my pictures perfectly. having a 2 year old child its important to be able to capture her every move no matter how fast she is. the photos are crisp and perfect and when zooming in on them it is crystal clear. i have noticed a difference from the arc to the arc s with the processor speed. it is faster and cleaner when it comes to moving from each application. Although there is a good size internal memory the application "app 2 SD free" is wonderful for alerting you that the new applications can be moved straight to your sd card which stops you from getting your internal memory clogged up. I also love the screen shot aspect on the phone. not something i use often but its nice to know it is there! this was a replacement for my lost arc and the 6 weeks without my phone was like having my arm removed, the gym is now a happy place with my music again! all in all a wonderful phone, now if it could just do DIY it would be a perfect replacement for my husband :-P

You folks should know that the android gingerbread doesn't take full advantage of d dual core cpu, hence d need for a dual core isn't necessary that's why SE didn't use it in their devices. What's the use having it if the OS doesn't require it. Most of you Samsung fan boys only look at specs without understanding it's purpose or importance. Putting dual or quad bore into a device with an OS not designed for such CPUs is a waste of material and just a show off.

We are always looking for different things and comment on mobile phones that are available in the market. Well sometimes we go more on the brand than features or vice versa. Don't look for features of samsung on sony ericsson or same with other mobile brands. Each one has their own strengths and weakness. Stop mocking on devices that don't go with your standards, its impossible to put all features on one model device, if that's the case how will they be able to sell their other products?
