oh how i wish my dad is gonna buy me this phone..
he decided to buy xperia ray instead coz he said that my x8 is getting old..
but nvm, it's still an android phone. lol

I hope Sony Ericsson can release some Xperia Arc S like spec or further improvement specs WinMo phone.Just like they did when they release the owsome Xperia X1.

if we look at the specs of nexus S so then we look at the arc s specs so i found a thing . google said they r giving icecream sandwhich update to NEXUS S . so nexus s hv 1ghz cortex A8 processer and a powerful gpu i m not confirm but will be and 512 mb Ram. NOW look at arc s specs arc s hv 1.4ghz processer and andreno 205 gpu + 512 mb ram so arc s able to update in icecream sand i m 80% sure about it

There... morecurrently dere is no smart dialing. to delete a particular msg u need to press n hold the msg u wanna delete. for missed call u can oso delete one by one by press n hold on the particular number under call log. hope it helps. ^_^

It is a crime for this phone not to have a front-facing camera.
Stylish and elegant, packed full of great features, it's almost perfect.
But without a FF camera for video-calling, it is not the ultimate phone.
I feel Sony Ericsson is deliberately holding back. why?

THE GOOD:I have the XPERIA ARC S :). It's a great phone it's fast and it's bright and it's very light. I compared the phone with the iphone 4S already and it's almost a tie off on resolution on the picture. The only difference is that the IPHONE 4 has a smaller screen. This phone is very smooth. I do a lot of multitasking and it's a good phone to have to do a lot of things at once. I have huge hands and the side keyboard when you move the phone onto it's side is great. All apps are very easy to download and fast too (well it also depends on your internet speed). The 3d camera is great. I love that feature. I take many pics in living in California. It's great to review what you've shot throughout the day. Downloaded movies and it looks awesome it's loud too.
The Bad: NO FACE time (meaning no front camera). The battery barely lasts me a day some times. I think a extra battery is some thing you want to invest in if you're a heavy user like me.The cord to charge it up it's not a universal plug. Cannot send pics to others though texting and you can not post pics onto facebook. Maybe there's a app for that. I'm not sure. (please help me if you can on that).

guyz wtf is that i m confused between SGSII,Galaxy NExus 3 , and ARC s because arc has better display and better camera and better outputs .but sgs2 and nexus hv dual core and icecream sandwhich (sii icsandwhich cming) and i m also confused that did sony release icecreamsandwhich update or not in ArC S in november . Big big confusion in my purchase

1- non scratch proof display glass.
2- low internal memory (320 mb).
3- no front camera.
4- three function keys and camera key
is non user friendly.
5- display lacks, sharpness and whiteness.

This is my first ever smartfone and....I dont get it! There is no speed dialling, you cannot delete a txt msg without deleting the entire thread (received/sent), you cannot set the phone not to store your sent msgs, you cannot delete a missed call so its on your desktop all the time, so every time you look at it it looks like you have a new missed call, you cannot do any settings to your bluetooth headsets (eg. to set it to automatically answer the phone), you cannot manage the phone from your laptop (eq no txt sending) and bunch of other smaller but shocking nono's! The most standard NOKIA phone has all those essential settings available. Am I missing something or looking in the wrong places to find the settings???
This is not a phone its just a Multimedia gadget. WTF???
