yup you are right , zelly cream rom is faster than ice bean rom , to make your phone more smoother install android assistant and clean master
what a co-incident , max payne is also my favorite
game , i played max payne 1 and 2 many times on my PC !
i played max payne 1 on my arc s , it`s smooth ,no lags !

yup u are right ,stock based kernel performance is not Best ! u can flash custom kernel for best performance ! there are no other issues except these two that i have mentioned in my previous post !

AnonD-108170, 24 Mar 2013Warranty will be void your device will not be capable to r... morebut my need is a custom kernel with a stock based rom ast he performance is not so good with the stock kernel, I am under warranty but it is not a problem for me if the warranty will be void, and I do not need OTA updates as It can be flashed through flashtool and stock sony updates are not good at all form e after using stock based roms, so what do you think, is there anything bad other than those 2, and thanks in the advance

your device will not be capable to receive any OTA updates
i recommend you not to unlock bootloader of ur phone
if you want to customize ur phone or want to install custom rom , then just root ur phone , install CWM
there are many roms available , that can installed with locked bootloader
i used 8-10 roms on my arc s , and i have locked bootloader , it doesn`t mean that i don`t know how to unlock !
i just don`t want to unlock it !
Launchers , widgets , system UI , lock screen apps can make your phone OS more beautiful :)

I am having a couple of issues with the arc s. First... moreMight be Camera and browser apk are corrupted
these two apk are system apk (Location /system/app)
u can`t delete / replace these apk files
replacing / deleting of system apk required superuser permission (root access)
Alternate solution (more effective)
download flashtool from this link

Install it into C drive ,
after installing
delete the old firmware (from this location C:\Flashtool\firmwares) if you found any
download Xperia arc Global firmware from this link

Exract the above downloaded file into C:\Flashtool\firmwares
open flash tool , at the top panel click on flash sign , before lock sign
select flashmode , for next windows just press OK
unplug ur phone from pc if connected
power off ur device
press and hold the back button & attach your phone to ur pc/laptop via datacable
"don`t release back button while attaching ur phone"
color of notification will be green
flashing starts , it will take maximum 2-3minutes !
after flashing remove ur handset,
power on ur phone , first boot will take some time
after booting , turn on your wifi , it will notify you a system upgrade , upgrade it , it will hardly take 2minutes (depends on ur internet connection speed) after up gradation ur phone will restart
Now your arc s is just like new , error and problem free :)
now if you want to upgrade to ICS ,u can upgrade ur phone via Sony Pc Companion !
