IF those problem occur, these problem can be solved.
So there will be no problem in buying in x MINI......

Fixing touch issue
if u have discomfort when touch gone crazy wait for 10 minute until mini cool down or press and hold both back and menu key and do ur
work.to turn off vibrate go to settings -> sound ->haptic feedback and off
1) Check build number
go to settings -> about phone -> build number
if build number 4.0.2.A.0.62 go to step 2
if build number 4.0.2.A.0.42 go to step 3
2) Downgrading to .62 to .42 firmware
in a previous post 007snz (about 5 pages early) posted how to do that
3) Rooting phone
download DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit by http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1321582
extract it and run runme.bat
follow "before u begin" section (note : when connected mini to pc adb drivers will automatically installed)
then press any key
after few minute phone will reboot
if rooted successful there should be a application named superuser in menu
4) Run a script using gscript lite
install gscript lite from android market
copy this code to notepad and save as ddn.sh (note : extension should be .sh)
dev=/sys/devices/platform/spi_qsd.0/spi0.0
fw=touch_smultron_sony.hex
cyttsp_fwloader -dev $dev -fw /system/etc/firmware/$fw -verify_only
sleep 5
reboot -p
then browse sd card and place this file in folder named gscript (note : in xp go to settings ->sony ericsson ->connectivity ->usb connection mode and select Mass Storage Mode before doing this step)
open gscript lite and press menu key select add script select load file and save (note : in xp go to settings ->sony ericsson ->connectivity ->usb connection mode and select Media Transfer Mode before doing this step)
Then select ddn .after 15 second mini will shut down
start it then problem should solved

Guys, I got an xperia mini yesterday for a very low price. But the battery says its 1911mAh, isnt it supposed to be 1200mAh? Can any one of you tell me how to find out if it genuine or not. Also in the battery compartment its not written SonyEricsson or where was it manufactured. Please help identifying if the phone is genuine and also if the battery is genuine too.

For heating issues, just bring it to sony ericsson and they will calibrate it. this problem occurs in early releases.

i heard that the mini is having heating and vibrating problem .... Every mini is having this problem.
i read somewhere that only SEPTEMBER BATCH is having those problem. IS IT TRUE.OR is all X mini is having the same heating prob.

square, 02 May 2012Guys, please help me I am planning to buy a new phone, but... moreBro u can definitely go for this mobile...Xperia mini...I am using it since last two months and I am more than satisfied. galaxy mini Is far more regular and ordinary and lack speed and multitasking..and a quit slow too as compared to Xperia mini. . Xperia has much faster 1gh processor and 512 mb ram ...far more faster than galaxy mini...xperia mini has unmatched sound quality and display...that too mobile bravia engine which Samsung can never match..its only drawback is an average photo quality inspire of having 5mp HD camera..but it can be ignored when compared to other features..just go for it..u ll not regret it...cheers..!!
