did you notice batt got over heat easily? I try to shut backrground apps, but not help much.
please if anyone there have a solution to this please reply, much appreciation.

xoeia mini seems to have a factory malfunction....i just bought mine last january 21 yet the screen is already hanging if you use it that long...and they don't want to change the unit...

Been following this thread for months yet the same problem appears. Go get the Xperia Mini with "11w40" and up, written on the back panel. Mine is 11w45 (manufacturing date where 11 is 2011 and w45 is week 45) and still working at its best, despite games, browser, download, sync, music, all at the same time. A solution with the touchscreen problem is available from the sonyericsson support forum. Don't hesitate! It's a great phone with a great price.

I'm currently residing here in the philippines and I received a notification for a software upgrade but unfortunately i haven't got the time to check what that update is but is it possible that this could be the ice cream sandwich upgrade that sony promised??:)

Friends I have bought this one two months ago . its good but i faced touchscreen related problem from the very begining esp. during incoming call. Then contacted with the local vendor and they acknowledged so and have taken time for servicing. The battery back up is not satisfactory.

after up date(2.3.4) my phone the key pad lock style was changing wht i do?befor the key pad lock style is like the the TV remote switch off style but after up date that was lost pls help me....

I baught it 4m the official store for 15k but I didnt know bck den dat "root"-in wud b so essential...buyin 4rm other dealers doesnt matter if ur goin to root ur phone... u loose the warranty n e ways... n trust me it totally worth it! :)

this phone is worth 13k. In this range u guys can not get any phone with the resolution , screen clearity , 1 GHz processor . camera quality is very good.this is very handy surface of phone is almost covered by display.
i suggest 2 buy it. the only problem u may face is battery problem.
and abt update , when u update ur phone from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 by air or without connecting ur phone with ur computer, all the data kept untouch. i did it my phone, no need to backup .

But wh... moreok mate.. one more thing.. would it make any difference if a buy the phone from a non-authorised dealer? sony ericsson company stores are selling this phone for 13k INR, while I can get it from other stores at 12k INR..

I have this phone for weeks now, all of the specs written here are true. Its a pretty amazing phone except about the battery. I just wonder why it doesn't last long whenever i play music or text. I charge it in full everyday, but still the battery indicator shows less than hundred percent after charging. Is it because of the widgets on my screen? Please help me figure this out. Also the camera consumes a lot of of power.

hai friends i wanna buy an android phone
i need a phone with best battery life
no overheat problems
no hanging problems
i heard about xperia mini i love it on the first site but bad is that some of the users told that they are facing heating problem & battery problem . can i go for xperia or other will yu please guide me
also tell me hw to rectify heating problems thanks in advance
