Its an owsome Cell phone, my firt endroid phone with the JAVA & WI-FI setting including 5 MP CAMERA m very glad from my heart after buying these cell phone.
Over all the functions are also so easy that every body can understood including the screen touch which runs very smoothly with out an cell phone hanging.

i found out it has a delayed on the touch menu icon. i have to press a few times to operate it. anybody have this problem??

When i bought my xperia mini i thought that it was perfect and very eye pleasing. But then i experienced the touchscreen/soft key issues and it wasn't so nice. Also i noticed that Android was not so easy to use in tomes of difficulty,specially when you are in a hurry. Now i'm starting to think that WP7 is actually good since it offers hassle free operation. Thinking of changing this to Nokia Lumia 800. :0

You seem to more worried about this phone, this device, this inanimate object than you are about the people whose money might be wasted by buying it! The fact is some Xperia Minis exhibit serious problems like the sudden shutdown/restart issue. And in case you were wondering, yes, my ST15i is updated to 2.3.4
Through no fault of our own, people like me now have to find a way to make this device who we invested serious money into, work. True, some Xperia Minis work just fine, but be informed that nearly an equal amount also has problems.
If you have the patience, the time, and are willing to put some effort in dealing with a defective Xperia, then go ahead and buy one. If you prefer something that works fine straight out of the box, then get something else.

I too got the problem of overheating and automatic menu appearance, but i gave it to service centre and they updated the software to 2.3.4 and now the problem is solved. So no problem you can buy this phone.

To all who are giving negative comments about xperia mini.. Make sure u have contacted service center regarding issue I've got my issues resolved regarding overheating and capacitive malfunction. My friend got his auto shutdown issue settled by changing Rom so beta. Contact Sony service center. Remember a million people are reading these posts..

Experiencing serious problems with my ST15i. For no apparent reason the fully charged unit either restarts suddenly, or shut downs completely. I think I'll have this changed to something else. It's quite irritating specially if you're waiting for an important call or SMS only to find out that your phone shut down by itself! Not good at all!

Guys,Those who are experiencing back button problem,vibration problem ,not able to attend phone calls etc ,please do the andriod update and then try once more..
2 backs back SE has come up with an update.Pls do it and post your results.i hope that should solve the issue

Guys i dont now u personally but i think u can fix pbm ... Here i am in a trouble i had 2 option HTC WILDFIRE S & XPERIA MINI . In my calculation i need to use the phone about 2.5 years ... So i need less pbm... In my mind i had htc bcoz it is more valued but les featured to sony.... So guys pls tel me.. Use ur experiance...bang it

no overheating problem,beutiful touch wiz 4.0 luncher and have 3G front facing camera..in malaysia offlcial price rm999,trade in my galaxy s l gt-i9003,huhu..but no regret.love this phone

The touchscreen becomes unresponsive: happened to me about 4-5 times in the two months that I have been using it. Really annoying, but its not a regular thing, so I don't mind. The only solution I found was taking out the battery, and then putting it back in. Doesn't happen often enough to be a dealbreaker.

Activate the camera, open camera settings, tap capturing mode and choose 3D sweep panorama. Just follow the guidance and shot! Then enjoy the picture on your 3d hdtv.
