This has nothing to do with the LCD refresh rate. This is not a hardware problem at all.

I bought this phone last month and within 2 weeks I got trouble with the touch screen. I removed the battery and its fine for a week again it got freezed nothing can't do even switch off the mobile. tried to removed the battery and still not working. Finally I contacted * SONY Servcie Center * and they informed me that the touch pad not working " within 1 month ". I contacted mobile shop and I asked for replace the phone. But they will not. The replacement warrenty only within the 7 days. I suggest you guys never buy this mobile any more. Its really bad experience for me. One more thing I had totally 6 mobile in Sony and I never had this experience before.

Wildfire was having too many hardware and software issues. While newly launched wildfire s is not even capable of receiving mobile signals. Too many call drops. The screen resolution is pathetic compared to Xperia mini. Processing power of wildfire is half of the sony xperia mini. I will suggest xperia mini over wildfire or wildfire s. People beware. Still people are selling wildfire for cheaper rates in market...Be careful. Do proper analysis.

Increase the brightness and you will see the flickering decreased or in many cases totally vanished. That is what i figured out from wikipedia's article on LED displays.

i own this precious thing for a week already and im enjoying the features that it have. it is small but has so wide variety of function depending on how you will use it and also its like you have a HD camera with you and it capture so fast yet so clear,unlike other brand of phone. i may rate it as 10... i really love this phone

5) the build quality is much better than the galaxy ace, fit, etc. The finish is superb, and screen is awesome.
The phone is very good for its price, but the problems you are facing are probably faced by a lot of other mini users.

Hi guys!
i wont suggest anyone this phone. Its a piece of crap. Thats what came in mind after using it for a month.
1. The touch sensitive back key and the menu keys are functioning on their own.
2. The phone got heated up on tethering. At that time the touch problem (as above) is more. I need to remove the battery.
3.while trying to attend call from pocket, the call cuts by itself. Sometimes the touch becomes non responsive.
4.songs are nice to listen
5.the phone is cheap. So the quality is poor.
6.I never expected it from sony.
DONT BUY!!!!

if these phone have such a problem, i think i should go to wait for se live with walkman. even though it does't have bravia engine compared to this one, thats ok with me.. considering that im a music lover...

Sony Ericsson xperia mini is an amazing phone i have ever used it is so fast and the display is awesome and now my phone is 1month old and has no problem at all.it is my dream mobile. Thank you Sony

Archies, 06 Oct 2011Hello Andy,I am having vibrating problem and when some one ... moreits a waste of money buying this phone even basic phone has a basic need of handling the calls and can browse for some time but this one is unusable... i didnt use the phone for a week its a useless device for me sony not aware of wat they doing
but am sure there is not a bunch of device alone getting this problem every phone has this problem for sure bec its a software problem not the hardware one so every phone has same software to have this problem some realize it when use it heavy some may not bec they use it less especially if u play games sure u get this problem soon and once u got it then its goes worst day by day....
currently sony stopped supply as nowhere stock from any dealer...

Dear lady and gentlemen!
i want to buy this phone but i heard my friend said that is not so good cos it usually got error and after few month it start to go out of control( it work not like we want it). now i see company allow this model to update OS to latest Android. will this phone better when we update OS or not?
pls every body give advices or your Experiment!

Finaly even after the updation on second my problem is not solved people in sony service center says its a sensor problem or some other after a long hardship finaly they take back the set for change...........lets c what happen next...
